Pengaruh General Trust Terhadap Perilaku Kooperatif Dalam Penerapan Protokol Kesehatan
Abstract
Abstract. The COVID-19 pandemic that has been going on since the beginning of 2020 has had an impact on the social and economic life of the community which eventually led to the policy of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and the Adaptation of New Habits (AKB) so that community cooperation is needed in order to suppress the spread of this case. Trust is one of the psychological factors that influence a person to behave cooperatively. The purpose of this study is to add information about the effect of general trust on cooperative behavior in early adult subjects in the context of a pandemic in the city of Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach and data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Simple Linear Regression Test. This study involved 149 respondents. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Inclusive General Trust Scale which refers to the General Trust theory from Yamagishi for the general trust variable and the questionnaire used by the Central Bureau of Statistics for the cooperative behavior variable. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is no significant effect between general trust on cooperative behavior with a significance level of 0.787 (p > 0.05). Suggestions for further researchers who are interested in choosing variables that are more suitable to be measured by cooperative behavior in the context of health protocols such as individual differences, social value orientation, sanctions, and others. And for the community of early adulthood, it is expected to maintain the cooperative behavior that is carried out to stay healthy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
