Hubungan antara Tayangan Film Joker dengan Persepsi mengenai Mental Illness

Abstract

Abstact. The Joker film is a psychological genre watch by director Todd Phillips, written with Scott Silver based on the character of one of the enemies of the superhero epic Batman. take the Joker Film in, because the Joker Film won the Golden Lion trophy for the best film category at the Venice film festival, the film which tells the story of Arthur Fleck aka Joker, a man convicted of having a rider in the brain, but also having, dressed up as a clown, but the handling he received from people was not in accordance with his expectations, therefore some people who saw this film would affect his weak audience, and there were also those who did not care or thought it was important. Perception is the experience of objects, events, or relationships obtained with information and information received. This proposal is entitled "The relationship between joker film shows with Perception of Mental Illness" in accordance with the title, then it is discussed about the relationship between the contents of the message and the attractiveness of the film show with the Perception of 12th grade students of SMAN 9 Bandung. Identification of the problem in this research is whether there is a relationship between the Message Content and the Attractiveness of the Joker Film Show with the 12th grade students' perception of SMAN 9 Bandung. The method used by this researcher is a Quantitative Method with a Correlational approach. That is the method for examining and knowing the relationship between two variables (X and Y). In the calculation, the correlation coefficient will be obtained, this correlation coefficient is used to determine whether there is a strong relationship, the direction of the relationship, which means the presence or absence of the relationship. Correlational method in this study is used to test whether there is a relationship between the intensity, the content of messages and the Attractiveness of the joker film show with the perception of 12th Grade Students of SMAN 9 Bandung. In this study, the respondents selected by the researchers were Class 12 students of SMAN 9 Bandung as many as 80 people using random sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the Joker Film Show with the 12th Class Student's Perception of SMAN 9 Bandung regarding Mental Illness with a correlational result of 0.689 which means this relationship is very strong. This very strong relationship shows that the Joker Film Show influenced the perception of Class 12 Students of SMAN 9 Bandung regarding Mental Illness.

Film Joker merupakan tontonan bergenre psikologi karya sutradara Todd Phillips yang ia tulis bersama Scott Silver berdasarkan karakter salah satu musuh epos superhero Batman. mengambil Film Joker in, karena Film Joker memenangkan piala Golden Lion untuk kategori film terbaik di festival film Venesia, Film yang berkisah tentang sosok Arthur Fleck alias Joker, seorang pria yang di vonis memiliki cedera pada otak, tetapi ia juga memiliki keinginan untuk menghibur orang banyak, dengan dandanan seperti badut, tetapi perlakuan yang ia terima dari orang-orang tidak sesuai dengan harapannya, Oleh sebab itu beberapa orang menyebut film ini akan mempengaruhi psikologi penontonnya yang lemah, dan ada juga yang tidak merasakan atau menganggap hal tersebut serius. Persepsi adalah pengalaman tentang objek, peristiwa, atau hubungan-hubungan yang diperoleh dengan menyimpulkan informasi dan menafsirkan pesan. Proposal ini berjudul “Hubungan antara tayangan Film joker dengan Persepsi mengenai Mental Illness†sesuai dengan judul tersebut maka permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana hubungan antara isi pesan dan daya Tarik tayangan film tersebut dengan Persepsi Siswa kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung. Identifikasi masalah dalam penelirian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan antara Isi Pesan dan daya Tarik pada Tayangan Film Joker dengan Persepsi Siswa kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan peneliti ini adalah Metode Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Korelasional.  Yaitu metode untuk meneliti dan mengetahui hubungan diantara dua variable (X dan Y). Di dalam perhitungannya nanti akan didapatkan koefisien korelasi, koefisien korelasi ini digunakan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang kuat, arah hubungan, yang berarti ada atau tidaknya hubungan tersebut. Metode Korelasional dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan antara intensitas, isi pesan dan daya Tarik dari tayangan fim joker dengan persepsi Siswa Kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini, responden yang dipilih peneliti adalah Siswa Kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung sebanyak 80 orang dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat Hubungan yang signifikan antara Tayangan Film Joker dengan Persepsi Siswa Kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung mengenai Mental Illness dengan hasil korelasional sebesar 0.689 yang artinya hubungan ini sangat kuat. Hubungan yang sangat kuat ini menunjukan bahwa Tayangan Film Joker berpengaruh bersar terhadap Persepsi Siswa Kelas 12 SMAN 9 Bandung mengenai Mental Illness.
