Pengaruh Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis

Abstract

Abstract. PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis is a unit of PT PLN that provides equipment and components for power generation machines and equipment related to the production and distribution of electrical energy. Employee safety and health is one of the factors that is very important to be considered by the company, therefore this company has a high commitment in seeking and maintaining so that each employee can work safely by prioritizing safety work. The company's high commitment in protecting the safety and health of its employees will not be enough if employees are not aware of the importance of occupational safety and health while in the work environment, because it is still often found that employees do not use personal protective equipment completely. Violations occur because of the lack of employee concern in implementing work safety and security regulations which can certainly threaten work safety. Employee awareness of work safety regulations is needed for all employees to prevent employees from the threat of danger that triggers workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Based on these phenomena, the problems in this study are formulated as follows: (1) What is the working safety condition at PLN Pusharlis, (2) What is the working health condition at PLN Pusharlis, (3) What is the performance condition of employees at PLN Pusharlis, (4) How the effect of work safety on employee performance at PLN Pusharlis, (5) How does the influence of occupational health on employee performance at PLN Pusharlis, (6) How does the influence of occupational safety and health on employee performance at PLN Pusharlis. The research method used in the form of descriptive and verification analysis whose data processing uses the help of the SPSS program. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of this study concluded that: 1) Work Safety Variables included in the excellent category. 2) Occupational Health Variables are included in both categories. 3) Employee performance is included in the excellent category. 4) Work Safety Variables have a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Employees of PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis. 5) Occupational Health variable does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis employees. 6) Based on the results of multiple regression analysis Occupational Safety and Health has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis.

Abstrak. PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis adalah unit dari PT PLN yang menyediakan peralatan dan komponen mesin pembangkit listrik serta peralatan yang berhubungan dengan produksi dan penyaluran energi listrik. Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawan menjadi salah satu faktor yang sangat perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan, oleh karena itu perusahaan ini memiliki komitmen yang tinggi dalam mengupayakan dan memelihara agar setiap karyawannya dapat bekerja dengan selamat dengan mengutamakan safety work. Komitmen perusahaan yang tinggi dalam melindungi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja karyawannya tidak akan cukup jika karyawan tidak menyadari tentang pentingnya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja saat berada di lingkungan kerja, karena masih kerap kali ditemukan karyawan yang tidak menggunakan alat pelindung diri dengan lengkap saat berada di lingkungan kerja. Pelanggaran terjadi karena kuranganya kepedulian karyawan dalam menerapkan peraturan keselamatan dan keamanan kerja yang tentunya dapat mengancam keselamatan kerja. Kepedulian karyawan terhadap peraturan keselamatan kerja sangat diperlukan bagi seluruh karyawan untuk mencegah karyawan dari ancaman bahaya yang memicu kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, maka permasalahan dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana kondisi keselamatan kerja di PLN Pusharlis, (2) Bagaimana kondisi kesehatan kerja di PLN Pusharlis, (3) Bagaimana kondisi kinerja karyawan di PLN Pusharlis, (4) Bagaimana pengaruh keselamatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PLN Pusharlis, (5) Bagaimana pengaruh kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PLN Pusharlis, (6) Bagaimana pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PLN Pusharlis. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif yang pengolahan datanya menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Variabel Keselamatan Kerja termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. 2) Variabel Kesehatan Kerja termasuk dalam kategori baik. 3) Kinerja Karyawan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. 4) Variabel Keselamatan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis. 5) Variabel Kesehatan Kerja tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis. 6) Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT PLN (Persero) Pusharlis.
