Analisis Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (Smk3) Pada Sistem Pemeliharaan Gardu Distribusi di PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Cijawura Bandung

Abstract

Abstract. The more intense competition nowadays where companies have to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of performance, it will force the managers of the company to compete perfectly, meaning that the company must be able to follow and apply the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) and able to apply the supervision / control of such a way, on all aspects in order to achieve effective and efficient results to ensure the survival of the company. The purpose of research conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Cijawura Bandung is to find out how the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), what problems faced by the company in the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), and how the solution of the problems in the face. The research method used is qualitative method, where this research about descriptive research and use analysis. Problems faced by the company that is still the existence of employees who do not meet the safety policy set by the company so that the cause of work accidents and solutions by employing employees in accordance with their expertise so that employees can realize the policy of Occupational Safety and Health easily and understandably. Based on the results of the research that has been described previously, the conclusion is with the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) in the company by way of internal audit, establishing the company's predetermined procedures, and establishing the OSH implementation pattern, the problem faced by the company is the obstacle in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the knowledge of the worker's knowledge in the work, and the solution to conduct special training on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) procedures and sanction workers if they do not comply with regulations or procedures provided by the company.

Abstrak. Semakin ketatnya persaingan saat ini dimana perusahaan harus meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas kinerja, maka akan memaksa para pengelola perusahaan untuk dapat bersaing dengan sempurna, artinya perusahaan harus dapat mengikuti dan menerapkan perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) serta mampu menerapkan pengawasan/pengendalian yang sedemkian rupa, pada semua aspek agar dapat mencapai hasil yang efektif dan efisien guna menjamin kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan di PT. PLN (persero) Rayon Cijawura Bandung ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan SMK3, apa masalah yang di hadapi oleh perusahaan dalam SMK3, dan bagaimana solusi dari masalah yang dhadapi tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini tentang riset yang bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan yaitu masih adanya karyawan yang tidak memenuhi kebijakan keselamatan kerja yang ditetapkan perusahaan sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan solusinya dengan memperkerjakan karyawan sesuai dengan keahliannya agar aryawan dapat merealisasikan kebijakan K3 dengan mudah dan dimengerti. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dijelaskan sebelumnya maka kesimpulannya yaitu dengan penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3) di perusahaan dengan cara audit internal, menetapkan prosedur yang telah ditentukan perusahaan, dan menetapkan pola penerapan K3, masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan yaitu adanya hambatan dalam penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dan adanya keterbataasan pengetahuan pekerja dalam melakukan pekerjaannya, dan solusinya mengadakan pelatihan khusus mengenai prosedur Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) dan memberi sanksi para pekerja jika tidak mentaati peraturan atau prosedur yang diberikan oleh perusahaan.
