Perencanaan Distribusi Menggunakan Metode Distribution Resources Planning Di PT. X untuk Pengendalian Pengiriman

Abstract


Abstract. PT.X is a pharmaceutical company located in the Bandung area and has contributed to improving the quality of life of the nation. PT.X often experiences delivery delays to the distribution center, shipping delays occur because of the inappropriate number of modes of transportation procurement and the lack of scheduling for the delivery system. Therefore it is necessary to schedule delivery and determine transportation modes to predict shipping and transportation mode needs. This study uses a distribution resources planning approach in order to predict the number of product shipments to the distribution center, and determine the transportation mode used and can predict the costs involved in distribution activities. The use of the selected forecast is done for product disaggregation so as to get the quantity of products in the box. With lot size using lot for lot, the distribution activity for the January 2018 period in week 1 to February the 4th week was 8 shipments and the lead time was 1 week. distribution costs involved in the central warehouse amounted to Rp13,281,931,000 with 1017 large trucks and 2 small trucks for delivery to 6 distribution centers located on the island of Java.

Abstrak. PT.X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang farmasi yang terletak di daerah Bandung dan telah berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup bangsa. PT.X sering mengalami penundaan pengiriman terhadap distribution centre, penundaan pengiriman terjadi karena tidak tepat jumlahnya pengadaan moda transportasi dan kurang baiknya penjadwalan untuk sistem pengiriman. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penjadwalan pengiriman dan penentuan moda transportasi untuk memprediksi pengiriman dan kebutuhan moda transportasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan distribution resources planning agar dapat memprediksi banyaknya pengiriman produk terhadap distribution centre, dan penentuan moda transportasi yang digunakan serta dapat memprediksi biaya yang terlibat dalam aktivitas distribusi. Penggunaan forecast terpilih dilakukan untuk disagregasi produk sehingga mendapatkan kuantitas produk dalam box. Dengan ukuran lot menggunakan lot for lot, aktivitas distribusi periode Januari 2018 di minggu 1 hingga Februari minggu ke-4 sebanyak 8 kali pengiriman dan lead time pengiriman selama 1 minggu. biaya distribusi yang terlibat pada central warehouse sebesar Rp13.281.931.000 dengan 1017 truk besar dan 2 truk kecil untuk pengiriman terhadap 6 distribution centre yang berada di pulau Jawa.
