Pemahaman Visi, Misi dan Dampaknya terhadap Kinerja Organisasi

Abstract


Abstract: This Research to understand the Vision, Mission that impacts the performance of the organization. Understanding the Vision, Mission in this research is conducted through four aspects, Clarity, Realistic, Appealing and Customer Perspective. This research uses quantitative approach with simple random sampling technique. The population of study was employees of STIKOM InterStudi and obtained 53 employees as a research sample. The data is then processed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with measurement model testing stages through validity and reliability tests as well as structural model testing (Structural Equation Modeling) to assess the statistical significance of hypothesized relationships. The results of this study show that the organizations performance can be strongly explained by employees understanding Vision and Mission of the organization. In this study only three aspects of understanding that affect of the performance organization: Clarity, Realistic, Appealing, while Customer Perspective becomes the only variable that does not significantly affect of the performance organization. The findings in this study have limitations only apply to the object studied, STIKOM InterStudi. Further research can examine the understanding of the Vision, Mission and its impact on the performance of organizations in similar institutions to obtain more implementative benetif findings.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami Visi, Misi yang berdampak terhadap kinerja organisasi. Pemahaman visi, misi dalam penelitian ini dikur melalui empat aspek yaitu Clarity, Realistic, Appealing dan Customer Perspective. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik simple random sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan STIKOM InterStudi dan diperoleh 53 karyawan sebagai sampel penelitian.  Data kemudian diolah menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan tahapan pengujian model pengukuran melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta pengujian model struktural (Stuctural Equation Modeling) untuk menilai signifikansi statistik dari hubungan yang dihipotesiskan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja organisasi secara kuat dapat diejelaskanoleh pemahaman karyawan atas Visi dan Misi organisasi. Dalam penelitian ini hanya tiga aspek pemahaman yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja organisasi yaitu; Clarity, Realistic, Appealing sedangkan Customer Perspective menjadi satu-satunya variabel yang tidak signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan hanya berlaku pada objek yang dikaji yaitu STIKOM InterStudi. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat meneliti pemahaman visi,misi dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja organisasi pada institusi sejenis guna memperoleh temuan manfaat yang lebih implementatif.
