Studi Literatur Potensi Tanaman Suku Caesalpineaceae sebagai Biolarvasida

Abstract


Abstract. Biolarvicides are plants that contain compounds that have the potential to kill insect larvae. There are various kinds of plants that have the potential as biolarvicides, one of which is the Caesalpiniaceae family because they contain flavonoid and saponin compounds. This research was conducted to determine the biolarvicide potential of the Caesalpiniaceae plant by using the literature study method from 4 articles and then analyzing the data that was poured into the table. All articles show the results of biolarvicide testing of plants belonging to the Caesalpiniaceae tribe that have a very effective effect, seen from the LC50 value. Caesalpinia pulcherima extracted by the soxhlet method using benzene as a solvent gave the best LC50 value.

Abstrak. Biolarvasida merupakan tanaman yang mengandung senyawa potensial untuk membunuh larva serangga.  Terdapat berbagai macam tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai biolarvasida, salah satunya tanaman suku caesalpiniaceae karena mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan saponin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui potensi biolarvasida dari tanaman suku caesalpiniaceae dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur dari 4 artikel yang kemudian dilakukan analisis data yang dituangkan kedalam tabel. Seluruh artikel menunjukan hasil dari pengujian biolarvasida tanaman suku caesalpiniaceae memberikan efek yang sangat efektif, dilihat dari nilai LC50. Tanaman Caesalpinia pulcherima yang diekstraksi dengan metode soklet menggunakan pelarut benzen memberikan nilai LC50 terbaik.
