Tidak Terdapat Hubungan Bermakna antara Overweight dengan Kejadian Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal (PUA) pada Mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Islam Bandung Tahun Akademik 2017/2018

Abstract


Abstract.Abnormal Uterine Bleeding is the most common menstrual problems that occur in 14-25% of women reproductive age. Abnormal Uterine Bleeding is the fourth most common reason for refferal to gynaecology departement. Abnoemal Uterine Bleeding is influenced  by obesity. One of most common causes overweight and obesity is lack physical activity, as happened to medical students. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between overweight and prevalence of AUB.  This research used observational analytic method with cross-sectional design approach. This research was conducted on undergraduate medical student Faculty Medicine Bandung Islamic University 2017/2018 with total sample of 82 persons which divided into 41 persons overweight and 41 persons non overweight. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data was analyzed in univariabel and bivariabel. The results show that the central tendency ofBMIin medical student was 25.46 (overweight) and the higest incidence of overweight occur at the year four. Most medical student (59%) experienced AUB. The results of statistical tests using the chi square test showes p value = 0,119 (CI 0.84; 1.83). The conclusions in this research i.e., there is no significant relationship between overweight and AUB on undergraduate medical student Universitas Islam Bandung 2017/2018  academic year.

Abstrak.Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal adalah masalah menstruasi paling umum yang terjadi pada 14-25% wanita usia reproduktif. Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal merupakan 4 penyebab utama rujukan ke poli ginekologi. Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal dipengaruhi obesitas. Salah satu penyebab utama kejadian overweight dan obesitas adalah aktivitas fisik yang rendah seperti pada mahasiswa kedokteran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan overweight dengan kejadian Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal. Metode penelitian ini observational analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswi FK UNISBA tahun akademik 2017/2018 sejumlah 82 orang dengan 41 orang overweight dan 41 orang non overweight. Sampel dipilih dengan cara purposive sampel. Data dianalisis secara univariabel dan bivariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tengah IMT pada mahasiswi FK 25,46 (overweight) dan lebih banyak pada tingkat 4. Sebanyak 59% mahasiswi FK mengalami Perdarahan Uterus Abnormal. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan chi square test didapatkan nilai p=0,119 dengan CI 0.84;1,83. Simpulan penelitian ini tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara overweight dengan kejadian PUA pada mahasiswi FK UNISBA tahun akademik 2017/2018.
