Pengaruh Karakteristik Interface dan Kompetensi Pengguna terhadap Penggunaan Teknologi Video Conference

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the influence of user interface characteristics and competence on the use of video conferencing. The population in this study is that this study takes the Accounting Study Program Students of Private Higher Education with Accreditation "A" in the city of Bandung. The research method used is quantitative research using descriptive and verification methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression with the help of the SPSS Ver application program. 23. Respondents in this study were students of accounting study programs from private tertiary institutions with accreditation "A" in the city of Bandung with a sample determined by convenience sampling, where sampling refers to the collection of information from members of the population who agree to provide the information. . The results showed that the characteristics of the interface, user competence, and the use of video conferencing technology were good. Interface characteristics have a significant effect on the use of video conferencing technology by 29.6%. User competence has a significant effect on the use of video conferencing technology by 11.0%. The magnitude of the influence of these two variables on the use of video conferencing technology is still in a good category, meaning that there are other factors that can affect the use of video conferencing technology.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya perngaruh karakterisitik interface dan kompetensi pengguna terhadap penggunaan teknologi video conference. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini mengambil Mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi Perguruan Tinggi Swasta dengan Akreditasi “A†di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan bantuan program aplikasi SP1SS Ver. 23. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi akuntansi dari perguruan tinggi swasta dengan akreditasi “A†di Kota Bandung dengan sampel yang ditentukan dengan convenience sampling, dima1na teknik penentuan sampel yang mengacu pada pengumpulan informasi dari anggota populasi yang dengan setuju mau untuk memberikan informasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik interface, kompetensi pengguna, dan penggunaan teknologi video conference sudah baik. Karakteristik interface berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan teknologi video conference sebesar 29,6%. Kompetensi pengguna berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penggunaan teknologi video conference dengan hasil uji koefisien determinasi parsial sebesar 11,0%. Besarnya pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut terhadap penggunaan teknologi video conference masih dalam kategori yang baik artinya terdapat faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi penggunaan teknologi video conference.
