Perancangan Sistem Informasi PB. HS Putra

Abstract

Abstract. PB. HS Putra is a company that manufactures building materials in the form of wood such as wood for frames, slabs, logs, logs and boards. There are problems in PB.HS Putra, such as the lack of documentation carried out in every activity, the lack of control for each process and procedure, and the absence of reports from each section. The purpose of this study is to analyze the information system that is being applied to PB. HS Putra and improve and design information systems in PB. HS Putra such as purchasing information systems, production information systems, inventory information systems, and sales information systems. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method with the method used for system development, the FAST (Freamework for the Application Development) method, where the FAST method is a method by going through the stages of system development and from each stage there are several later phases of each phase there are several activities carried out. And using data collection techniques with the JAD (Joint Application Development) approach. The results obtained in this study are in the form of a new information system design in accordance with the needs of the company to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's operational activities and strengthen internal control.

Abstrak. PB. HS Putra  merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi bahan bangunan berupa kayu seperti kayu untuk kusen, ereng, glondongan, log dan papan. Terdapat permasalahan-permasalahan di PB.HS Putra yaitu seperti tidak adanya dokumentasi yang dilakukan dalam setiap aktivitas, kurangnya kontrol untuk setiap proses dan prosedur yang ada, dan tidak adanya laporan dari setiap bagian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sistem informasi yang sedang diterapkan pada PB. HS Putra serta memperbaiki dan merancang sistem informasi yang ada di PB. HS Putra seperti sistem informasi pembelian, sistem informasi produksi, sistem informasi persediaan, dan sistem informasi penjualan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan sistem yaitu metode FAST (Freamework for the Application Development), yang mana metode FAST yaitu metode dengan melalui tahapan-tahapan pengembangan sistem dan dari setiap tahapan terdapat beberapa fase kemudian dari setiap fase tersebut terdapat beberapa aktivitas yang dilakukan. Serta menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan pendekatan JAD (Joint Application Development). Hasil yang di dapat pada penelitian ini adalah berupa rancangan sistem informasi yang baru yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dari kegiatan operasional perusahaan dan memperkuat pengendalian internal.
