Pengaruh Presenter Ruben Onsu dan Bentuk Pesan pada Program Diary The Onsu di Trans Tv terhadap Minat Penonton

Abstract

Abstract. The development of television in Indonesia has undergone constant changes along with increasing technological developments, this of course greatly affects the quality and content produced by television stations in Indonesia, especially the form of messages on programs that will be delivered to the audience. The reality show program is one of the programs that is very popular with viewers in Indonesia. One of the reality show programs is Diary The Onsu on Trans TV featuring a reality show that is packed with a family feel. This study aims to determine the effect of the reality show Diary The Onsu on Trans TV on the audience's interest, especially about presenter Ruben Onsu and the form of the message conveyed. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for academics or practitioners to find out the audience's interest in the Diary The Onsu Trans TV program. An explanatory quantitative approach was used in this study with viewers of the Diary The Onsu program from 11 cities in Indonesia according to Nielsen for the period 1 December 2020 to 28 February 2021 with non-probability sampling, with convenience sampling technique using Google Forms in situations and conditions. the Covid-19 pandemic in order to minimize research limitations. The results of this study explain if there is a significant influence between the influence of presenter Ruben Onsu and the form of the message on The Onsu Diary Program on Trans TV on Audience Interest.

Perkembangan televisi di Indonesia telah mengalami perubahan konstan seiring perkembangan teknologi yang semakin meningkat, hal ini tentunya sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas serta konten yang di produksi oleh stasiun televisi di Indonesia terutama bentuk pesan pada program acara yang akan disampaikan kepada penonton. Program reality show merupakan salah satu program acara yang sangat digemari oleh penonton di Indonesia. Salah satu Program reality show ialah Diary The Onsu di Trans TV menampilkan reality show yang dikemas dengan nuansa kekeluargaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang dihasilkan dari tayangan reality show Diary The Onsu di Trans TV terhadap minat penonton khususnya tentang presenter Ruben Onsu dan bentuk pesan yang disampaikan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bidang akademis atau praktisi untuk mengetahui minat penonton dalam program Diary The Onsu Trans TV. Pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan responden penonton tayangan program Diary The Onsu dari 11 kota di Indonesia menurut nielsen periode 1 Desember 2020 sampai dengan 28 Februari 2021 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling, dengan tehnik convenience sampling dengan Google Forms di situasi dan kondisi pandemi Covid-19 demi meminimalisir keterbatasan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan jika terdapat sebuah pengaruh signifikan antara pengaruh presenter Ruben Onsu dan bentuk pesan pada Program Diary The Onsu di Trans TV Terhadap Minat Penonton.
