Aplikasi Metode Horner untuk Menghitung Temperature Gradient Thermal
Abstract
Abstract. The Center for Development of Mineral and Geothermal Resources is a government institution that develops and research geothermal institutions with the PPSDMPB team conducted in the geothermal manifestation area located in Lili Sepporaki, Polewali Mandar District, West Sulawesi Province. In the drilling location it is indicated that there are geothermal conditions with presence of properties which appears on the surface of heat presence and hot air sources in the area. Drilling activities in the Lili Seporaki area carried out a deep depth of 701.30 m with construction of a borehole installed with a sheath 6 "to a depth of 30.20 meters, sheath 4" to a depth of 151.80 meters, HQ pipes increased to 501.25 meters and NQ pipes to 701.30 meters depth. The logging temperature was carried out 3 times, namely at a depth of 155 meters, 501 meters, and a depth of 700 meters. Based on the test results of the Portable Infrared Mineral Analyzer or PIMA, the dominant clay minerals are montmorionite and palygorskite with initial formation temperatures ranging from 140 0C to 150 0C. The calculated temperature at a depth of 150 m is 33.3 0C, a depth of 510 m is 48.14 0C, and a depth of 700 m is 68.08 0C. From the results of the temperature calculation, the temperature value of the gradient is 6.05 0C.

Abstrak. Pusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Mineral Dan Panas Bumi merupakan Lembaga pemerintah yang melakukan pegembangan dan penelitian dengan komoditas panas bumi dengan tim PPSDMPB penelitian dilakukan di daerah manifestasi panas bumi yang berlokasi di Lili Sepporaki Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Dalam lokasi pemboran di indikasikan memiliki keadaan geothermal dengan adanya gejala-gejala yang timbul dipermukaan berupa adanya uap panas dan sumber air panas di daerah tersebut.Kegiatan pengeboran di daerah Lili Seporaki dilakukan kedalaman sumur 701,30 m dengan Kontruksi sumur bor terpasang selubung 6†hingga kedalaman 30,20 meter, selubung 4†hingga kedalaman 151,80 meter, pipa HQ hingga kedalaman 501,25 meter dan pipa NQ hingga kedalaman 701,30 meter. Logging temperature dilakukan 3 kali pengukuran, yaitu pada kedalaman 155 meter, 501 meter, dan kedalaman 700 meter.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian Portable Infrared Mineral Analyser atau PIMA didapat mineral lempung yang mendominasi adalah montmorionite dan palygorskite denagn suhu keterbentukan awalnya berkisar 140 0C sampai 150 0C. Temperature hasil perhitungan pada kedalaman 150 m yaitu 33,3 0C, kedalaman 510 m yaitu 48,14 0C, dan kedalaman 700 m yaitu 68,08 0C. Dari hasil perhitungan temperatur, didapat nilai temperatur gradient sebesar 6,05 0C.
