Peran Digital Audio Workstation dalam Produksi Program Acara Siaran Radio di NBS FM

Abstract


Abstract. FM NBS Radio in the program has a Sound Engineer Division to produce an audio or Sound which is divided into several stages, namely the Recording Engineer, Sound Editing, and Mixing Engineer and Mastering Engineer. This study refers to group communication and focuses more on the theory of group achievement, namely Member input (member input), mediating variables (role structure), and group output (group output). The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Population of the FM NBS Radio Sound Engineer Team on Jalan. Siliwangi, Cikole, Sukabumi City, West Java 43113. Using purposive sampling technique. A sample of 3 people namely 1 Recording Engineer, 1 Sound Editting and 1 Mixing Engineer and Mastering NBS FM Radio Engineer, Sukabumi City. Data collection techniques obtained through direct interviews, observation. In addition data is obtained through library research and internet searching. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) Member input (input of members) that the role of the Sound Engineer team at NBS Radio when audio production using DAW certainly must be confident. the presence of digital technology can help work performance. Seeing scoring references on youtube, a film is a solution when caught in a problem. Idealism in the role of its own Sound Engineer team uses idealistic DAW in the use of Software. DAW Pro Tools is superior. the interaction is carried out by the role of the Sound Engineer team that the procedure certainly must be in the process. Sound Engineer stages Recording, Sound Editing, Mixing and Mastering. The expectations of each role produce Sound quality that matches the frequency in each track. (2) Mediating variables (role structure) The task of each role of the Sound Engineer Recording Engineer performs Recording, making guides or grooves, to make the instruments needed, Sound Editing has the task of Editing tracks, Mixing Engineers in charge of audio compounding, and Mastering Engineer in charge of leveling audio, and later it will create a good output character. The most dominant role is Mixing and Mastering. The purpose of the Sound Engineer team for the SpookySunday program is to produce quality audio, far from being disturbed. Influence Sound to create a distinctive Sound in the SpookySunday program includes several instruments such as the Electrical String, Vintage String and Sound effects to add to the jump scare atmosphere. (3) Group Output gives the best, because audio quality can affect the rating level in the program. Releases in each program are in the form of CDs and streams through the nbsfm.com website.

Abstrak. Radio NBS FM dalam program acara memiliki Divisi Sound Engineer untuk memproduksi suatu audio atau suara yang di dalam nya terbagi menjadi beberapa tahapan yaitu Recording Engineer, Sound Editing, dan Mixing Engineer dan Mastering Engineer. Penelitian ini merujuk pada komunikasi kelompok dan lebih menfokuskan pada teori pencapaian kelompok yaitu Member input (masukan anggota), variabel mediating (struktur peran), dan group output (keluaran kelompok). Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi Tim Sound Engineer Radio NBS FM di Jalan. Siliwangi, Cikole, Kota Sukabumi, Jawa Barat 43113. Menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Sampel sebanyak 3 orang yaitu 1 orang Recording Engineer, 1 orang Sound Editing dan 1 orang Mixing Engineer dan Mastering Engineer Radio NBS FM Kota Sukabumi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara secara langsung, observasi. Selain itu data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dan internet searching. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat di simpulkan bahwa (1) Member input (masukan anggota) bahwa peran tim Sound Engineer di Radio NBS ini pada saat produksi audio dengan menggunakan DAW tentu harus percaya diri. adanya teknologi digital dapat membantu kinerja kerja. Melihat referensi scoring di youtube, film satu solusi ketika terjebak dalam suatu masalah. Idealisme dalam peran tim Sound Engineer tersendiri menggunakan DAW idealis dalam penggunaan Software. DAW Pro Tools paling unggul. interaksi di lakukan oleh peran tim Sound Engineer bahwa prosedur tentu pasti ada dalam proses nya. Tahapan Sound Engineer Recording, Sound Editing, Mixing dan Mastering. Harapan setiap peran menghasilkan kualitas suara yang sesuai dengan frequensi dalam setiap track. (2) Varibel mediating (strukrtur peran) Tugas masing-masing peran Sound Engineer Recording Engineer melakukan perekaman, membuat guide atau alur, hingga membuat instrument yang di butuhkan, Sound Editing bertugas melakukan Editing track, Mixing Engineer bertugas melakukan peracikan audio, dan Mastering Engineer bertugas melakukan leveling audio, dan nantinya akan menciptakan karakter output yang baik. Peran yang paling dominan Mixing dan Mastering. Tujuan dari tim Sound Engineer untuk program SpookySunday menghasilkan audio yang berkualitas, jauh dari gangguan. Influence Sound untuk menciptakan suara yang khas dalam program acara SpookySunday memasukan beberapa instrument seperti Electrical String, Vintage String dan Sound effect untuk menambah suasana jump scare. (3) Group Output (Keluaran Kelompok) memberikan yang terbaik, karena kualitas audio dapat mempengaruhi tingkat rating dalam program. Perilisan dalam setiap program berupa CD dan stream melalui web nbsfm.com.
