Formulasi Larutan Nanopartikel Mineral Tanah Lempung Gunung Palasari serta Uji Aktivitas Anti Kanker Metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (Bslt).
Abstract
Abstract. Cancer or neoplasm is the development of normal cells by regulating growth and proliferation mechanisms in normal cells. In general, conventional cancer drugs have adverse side effects on the body such as liver and kidney damage, bone marrow damage, lung damage, heart damage, and others. So that many people are turning from conventional cancer treatment to traditional medicine. The people of Gunung Palasari, Kec. Cilengkrang, Kab. Bandung. using soil as an alternative to cancer treatment. one of the compounds in soil minerals, namely bentonite, which is used as a drug delivery system for anti-cancer therapy such as Paclitaxel, 5Fu, 6-Mercaptopurine. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of soil minerals as anti-cancer against shrimp larvae, to obtain soil mineral nanoparticle formula concentrations that are physically stable and meet pharmaceutical requirements, and to determine the effectiveness of soil mineral nanoparticle solutions against shrimp larvae. BSLT testing of clay mineral solutions and bentonite functions as a test in an unformulated form, then proceed with the preparation of a nanoparticle solution formula with the ionic glaciation method between Chitosan and NaTPP, using 4 different chitosan concentration formulas (1%; 0.5%; 0 , 1%, and 0.01%). Physical evaluation using the PSA method and cytotoxic activity test of the best clay nanoparticles solution at a concentration of 1% with LC50 17.0960 ppm and particle size 772.4 nm.
