Diagram Kendali Effective Variance Untuk Memantau Dispersi Proses

Abstract


Abstract. Generalized variance (GV) control chart, |S| is a tool commonly used to integrate multivariate dispersions in process control. The GV control chart is used where the measurements are the same or not too different. In the case of different dimension, it is necessary to standardize. The GV standardization in a way called rooting to the power of p, then suppose the name of effective variance. In this analysis, we will discuss the formation of an effective variance control chart which is a developmental concept of a generalized variance control chart. This study describes the use of an effective variance control chart to monitoring the dispersion on the development of food prices for red chili and cayenne pepper in West Java. The results obtained are observations that are out of control in periods 2, 3, 4, 11, 13, 17, 19 and 30. So it can be said that the development of food prices for red chili and cayenne pepper in West Java is not controlled statistically.

Abstrak. Diagram kendali generalized variance (GV), |S| merupakan alat yang biasa digunakan untuk memantau dispersi multivariat dalam pengendalian proses. Diagram kendali GV digunakan dalam hal satuan pengukuran sama atau tidak terlalu berbeda. Dalam hal satuan berbeda, maka perlu distandarkan.  Standarisasi GV dilakukan dengan cara mengakarkan pangkat p, selanjutnya disebut effective variance. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas pembentukan diagram kendali effective variance yang merupkan konsep perkembangan dari diagram kendali generalized variance. Pada penelitian ini dipaparkan tentang penggunaan diagram kendali effective variance untuk memantau dispersi pada perkembangan harga pangan cabai merah dan cabai rawit di Jawa Barat. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat pengamatan yang berada diluar batas kendali (out of control) yang terdapat pada periode ke-2, 3, 4, 11, 13, 17, 19 dan 30. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa perkembangan harga pangan cabai merah dan cabai rawit di Jawa Barat tidak terkontrol secara statistik.
