Penerapan Distribusi Skellam dalam Data Pertandingan Pro Futsal League 2019

Abstract

Abstract. Futsal is a sport that is developing in Indonesia. The development of futsal is proven by the number of futsal tournaments held, one of which is the Pro Futsal League, which is organized by the Indonesian Futsal Federation. The development of futsal cannot be separated from the connoisseurs and lovers of futsal in Indonesia. It is not uncommon for arguments between futsal lovers to predict who will be the winner in a match. Predicting soccer matches has become commonplace for soccer aspirants, especially in every highest caste league in every country. The goal difference is an important indicator in a soccer match because in the final standings, the goal difference is more calculated than the number of goals entered. Goal difference can be modeled by the Skellam distribution. The Skellam distribution (Poisson Difference distribution) is the distribution of the difference or difference between two independent random variables with a Poisson distribution. The Skellam distribution has been widely used as a simple modeling approach for two random variables with independent Poisson distribution in sports involving two competing teams (Karllis and Ntzoufras 2000 & 2008). The Skellam distribution is a development of the Poisson distribution in predicting the goal difference from a soccer match. Researchers will apply the Skellam distribution to predict the final results of the 2019 Pro Futsal League match win, and this research is to find out how to predict the winning odds from the difference in match goals and compare the predicted results with the actual results. The results of this study are seen from the results of the Chi-Square compatibility test, the Skellam distribution is suitable for use in the 2019 Pro Futsal League data. The actual results of the Black Steel Team lost to the Vamos FC Team by a difference of 1 goal or -1 while the estimated odds were only 0.08149 or 8.149%. that means Black Steel is more likely to not lose by a difference of 1 goal or -1.

Abstrak. Olahraga futsal merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga yang berkembang di Indonesia. Berkembangnya olahraga futsal terbukti dengan banyaknya turnamen futsal yang diadakan salah satunya yaitu Pro Futsal League yang diselenggarakan oleh Federasi Futsal Indonesia. Berkembangnya futsal tidak terlepas dari para penikmat dan pecinta futsal di Indonesia. Tidak jarang terjadi adu pendapat antar pecinta futsal dalam memprediksi siapa pemenang dalam suatu pertandingan. Melakukan prediksi pertandingan sepak bola telah menjadi hal yang lumrah bagi pencita sepak bola, terutama pada setiap liga kasta tertinggi disetiap negara. Selisih gol menjadi indikator penting dalam pertandingan sepak bola karena dalam klasemen akhir, selisih gol lebih diperhitungkan dibanding jumlah memasukan gol. Selisih gol dapat dimodelkan oleh distribusi Skellam. Distribusi Skellam (Distribusi Poisson Difference) merupakan distribusi dari perbedaan atau selisih dua variabel acak bebas yang berdistribusi Poisson. Distribusi Skellam telah banyak digunakan secara luas sebagai pendekatan model sederhana untuk dua peubah acak yang berdistribusi Poisson independen pada olahraga yang melibatkan dua tim yang bersaing (Karllis dan Ntzoufras 2000 & 2008). Distribusi Skellam merupakan pengembangan dari distribusi poisson dalam memprediksi selisih gol dari suatu pertandingan sepak bola. Peneliti akan menerapkan distribusi Skellam untuk memprediksi hasil akhir kemenangan pertandingan Pro Futsal League 2019, dan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara memprediksi peluang kemenangan dari selisih gol pertandingan serta membandingkan hasil prediksi dengan hasil yang sebenarnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini dilihat dari hasil uji kecocokan Chi-Kuadrat, distribusi Skellam cocok digunakan dalam data Pro Futsal League 2019. Hasil sesungguhnya Tim Black Steel kalah atas Tim Vamos FC dengan selisih 1 gol atau -1 sedangkan hasil taksiran peluang hanya 0.08149 atau 8,149% itu artinya Black Steel lebih berpeluang tidak kalah dengan selisih 1 gol atau -1.
