Studi Deskriptif Mengenai Religious Problem Solving pada Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir UNISBA

Abstract


Abstract. In daily activities, university students have to face variety of pressures including academic problems. In this case, religion can help to solve the problem. The style of religious problem solving are collaborative, deffering and self-directing. This study aimed to describe the style of religious problem solving of unisba student in the final year.  The method was descriptive study. The participants of this study were students who have been completed religion subjects. Data was collected by using religious problem solving scale Pargament. Data analyzed by comparing the dominant category. The results showed that 95 participants are collaborative style, 3 participants are deffering style and 2 participants are self-directing style.

 

Abstrak. Dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari mahasiswa seringkali menghadapi berbagai tekanan. Tekanan yang seringkali para mahasiswa hadapi berupa masalah akademik. Pada hal ini, agama diperkirakan mampu membantu mahasiswa mengatasi masalah mereka. Gaya dari religious problem solving meliputi collaborative, deffering dan self-directing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran religious problem solving. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa UNISBA yang sudah menyelesaikan mata kuliah keagamaan. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan merupakan skala religious problem-solving yang disusun oleh Pargament. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan pada kategori yang dominan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 95 responden tergolong ke dalam tipe collaborative, 3 responden tergolong ke dalam tipe deffering dan 2 responden tergolong ke dalam tipe self-directing.
