Pengaruh Kualitas Kehidupan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Karyawan Generasi Milenial

Abstract


Abstract. Millennials often appear associated with low organizational commitment. Because commitment is considered an important aspect in supporting organizational performance and performance. Committed employees will persist, strive and strive to achieve organizational goals. So those efforts are needed to maximize commitment, one of which is through efforts to improve the quality of work life. This study empirically aims to see how much influence the quality of work life has on organizational commitment to millennial employees at PT GIN. This study involved 27 employees of PT GIN. The measuring instrument used is Walton's quality of work-life (QWL Walton model) belonging to Timossi et al., (2008) which has been adapted into Indonesian by Wardani & Anwar (2019) and Ingarianti's (2015) organizational commitment measurement tool. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results obtained from this study are the quality of work life has an effect of 31.2% on organizational commitment and the other 68.8% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstrak. Generasi milenial sering diteliti terkait dengan komitmen terhadap organisasi mereka yang rendah. Karena komitmen dianggap sebagai salah satu aspek penting dalam menunjang stabilitas dan kinerja organisasi. Karyawan yang berkomitmen akan tetap bertahan, berusaha serta berdedikasi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Sehingga diperlukannya upaya untuk memaksimalkan komitmen, salah satunya melalui upaya peningkatan kualitas kehidupan kerja. Penelitian ini secara empiris bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan generasi milenial di PT GIN. Penelitian ini melibatkan 27 karyawan PT GIN. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah quality of work life Walton (model QWL Walton) milik Timossi et al., (2008) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh Wardani & Anwar (2019) alat ukur komitmen organisasi milik Ingarianti (2015). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas kehidupan kerja memberikan pengaruh sebesar 31,2% terhadap komitmen organisasi dan 68,8% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.
