Abstract

Abstract. Pharmacy study program students have various tough demands but they can survive and adapt, besides pharmacy students are busy but can still excel in academic and non-academic matters. This behavior indicates that pharmacy students are involved in learning. The high involvement of students is influenced by internal and external factors. One of the internal factors is self-regulated learning. This study aims to determine how much influence self-regulated learning has on student engagement in Pharmacy study program students in Bandung. The method used is quantitative with a non-experimental causality design. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling. The subjects of this study amounted to 326 students. The self-regulated learning measuring instrument used is the MSLQ scale with a reliability of 0.916 and the student engagement scale used is the USEI with a reliability of 0.882. Then the data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis obtained the value of sig. 0.000 < from alpha of 0.05, it can be concluded that self-regulated learning affects student engagement. The regression coefficient R2 shows that the effect of self-regulated learning on student engagement is 51.6%, and the remaining 48.4% is influenced by other variables not included in the study.

Salah satu faktor internalnya yaitu self-regulated learning.
