Pengaruh Stress Akademik terhadap Resiliensi Pada Remaja Di Masa Pandemi COVID-19
Abstract
Abstract. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major changes to the education process in Indonesia. This is a challenge for education in Indonesia in implementing distance learning so that the learning process continues. Online learning has become an academic stressor for teenagers with all the changes and difficulties experienced during the Pandemic. So that it takes the ability to adapt to situations that cause stress and improve psychological functions called resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of academic stress on adolescent resilience during a pandemic. This research was conducted on 2,930 adolescent respondents aged 12-18 in the territory of Indonesia. This study uses a convenience sampling technique and uses an online survey research design. This study uses the Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI) (Gadzella & Maten, 2005) and the Child and Youth Resilience Measurement Revised (CYRM-R) which has been adapted into Indonesian (Borualogo & Jefferies, 2019). The results of this study indicate that academic stress has a significant negative effect on resilience, meaning that the higher the academic stress, the resilience of adolescents will decrease and vice versa if academic stress is low, the resilience of adolescents is high.
