Descriptive Study of Children’s Well-being on Children of years old I SOS Children’s Village Lembang.

Abstract


Children have needs to be satisfied to normally grow up, those needs include physically and psychologically and generally are fulfilled by their caregiver. However, those are not fulfilled for orphan children. SOS children’s Village Lembang is a social organization foundation in Indonesia to protect children by providing long-term upbringing model based on family (family-based care), SOS Children’s Village Lembang provides affection to them by providing a house, family, reasonable life in order that they have autonomous lives. The objective of the study is to describe a clear picture of Children’s Well-being on children of 8 years old in SOS Children’s Village Lembang. The instrument used is a questionnaire of children well-being based on 8 domains and adapted by ISCWeB Questionnaire (2015). The results show that children of 8 years old in SOS Children’s Village Lembang have high satisfaction on home satisfaction, satisfaction with with interpersonal relationship, satisfaction with school and personal satisfaction domains.
