Hubungan Tipe Kepribadian Big Five dengan Perilaku Cybersex pada Remaja

Abstract


Abstract. Cybersex is an online activity that involves sexuality, such as erotic chatting, viewing erotic pictures and films. Cybersex activity has increased drastically in various countries, one of which is Indonesia. The National Commission for Child Protectionsaid 97% of 4500 teenagers in Indonesia had accessed pornographic content. In addition, research states that 89% of the media in which there is pornographic content can be the cause of many free sex behavior. It is thought that personality is related to how users interact with the Internet. The research’s purposed to know the relationship between big five personality and Cybersex behavior in adolescents in Bandung. This research is quantitative and correlational method and samples of this research are 100 respondences ages 18-21.  Hypothesis testing is done by using the Spearman rank analysis technique. This research used two instruments, Internet Sex Screening Test and BFI - 28. The results showed that the personality types that had a significant relationship with cybersex behavior were neuroticism, agreeableness and openness to experience. Meanwhile, traits that do not have a significant relationship are extraversion and concientiousness. And personality types that do not have a significant relationship are extraversion and concientiousness.

Abstrak. Cybersex merupakan aktivitas online yang melibatkan seksualitas, seperti mengobrol erotis, melihat gambar dan film erotis. Aktivitas cybersex telah meningkat secara drastis di berbagai negara, salah satunya di Indonesia. Komisi Nasional Perlindungan Anak memenyebutkan 97% dari 4500 remaja  di Indonesia pernah mengakses konten pornografi. Selain itu, penelitian menyebutkan 89% media yang didalamnya terdapat konten pornografi dapat menjadi penyebab banyaknya perilaku seks bebas. Diperkirakan bahwa kepribadian berhubungan dengan bagaimana pengguna berinteraksi dengan Internet. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tipe kepribadian Big Five dengan perilaku Cybersex pada remaja di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan korelasional dengan jumlah subjek berusia 18 – 21 tahun sebanyak 100 orang. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan teknik analisis rank spearman. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Internet Sex Screening Test dan BFI – 28. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe kepribadian yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan perilaku cybersex adalah neuroticism, agreeableness dan openness to experience. Sedangkan tipe kepribadian yang tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan adalah extravertion dan concientiousness.
