Studi Deskriptif Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter pada SDN 269 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. According to the KPAI, as many as 51 percent of the cases that occurred throughout 2018 were related to cases of both verbal and nonverbal violence, such as students who dared to challenge and threaten their teachers. The Bandung City Education Office formulated Bandung Masagi in an effort to minimize behavior with negative characters. According to Lickona, the moral values that must be embedded in oneself are respect and responsibility. Character Education at SDN 269 Griya Bumi Antapani is carried out through habituation and scheduled learning by incorporating values of courtesy, discipline and respect. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of character education at SDN 269 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive with a subject as many as 105 respondents with simple random sampling technique which includes students in grades 5 and 6, parents and teachers. The results showed that the aspects of character education that were maximal in child participants were Student Respect, Support Care by Faculty, Support Care by Parents and Appreciation. Meanwhile, adult participants are Support Care by Faculty, Support Care by Parents and Appreciate.

Abstrak. Menurut KPAI, sebanyak 51 persen kasus yang terjadi di sepanjang tahun 2018 berkaitan dengan kasus kekerasan baik verbal maupun nonverbal, seperti siswa yang berani menantang dan mengancam gurunya. Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung merumuskan Bandung Masagi dalam upaya meminimalisir perilaku dengan karakter negatif. Menurut Lickona nilai-nilai moral yang wajib melekat dalam diri adalah respek dan tanggung jawab. Pendidikan Karakter di SDN 269 Griya Bumi Antapani dilaksanakan melalui pembiasaan dan pembelajaran yang sudah dijadwalkan dengan menyisipkan nilai sopan santun, disiplin dan menghargai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai implementasi pendidikan karakter di SDN 269 Griya Bumi Antapani Bandung. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan subjek sebanyak 105 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling yang diantaranya siswa kelas 5 dan 6, orangtua siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek pendidikan karakter yang memiliki kategori tinggi pada partisipan anak yaitu Student Respect, Support Care by Faculty, Support Care by Parents dan Menghargai. Sedangkan pada partisipan dewasa yaitu Support Care by Faculty, Support Care by Parents dan Menghargai.
