Studi Deskripitif Kepuasan Kerja Menurut Job Characteristics Model Widyaiswara Pusat X Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. Job satisfaction is a common attitude for employees who are happy or unhappy about their work. On the Job Characteristic Model, this model acts as a framework for job evaluation one of which evaluates the impact of employment change that intrinsically satisfies the individual, as there is a direct relationship between work and increased job satisfaction. The wider function and task change in PPSDM apparatus gives a new color to the characteristics of the work, the impact of the change is most felt in the work of Widyaiswara, so that the characteristics in the job of Widyasiwara tend to fit the core job dimensions. There is a change in the work that occurs not so perceived to be a burden by the Widyaiswara, most of the Widyaiswara seems to display the positive attitude, they feel that the change makes them happy and by the work that are given to them, so that the Widyaiswara tends to have high job satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to see the idea of job satisfaction based on the theory of Job Characteristic Models (JCM) in Widyaiswara. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a population of 15 Widyaiswara employee. Measurement using a questionnaire measuring instrument with a measuring instrument named JDS (Job Diagnostic Scale) based on the theory of Job Characteristic Model Hackman and Oldham (1975). The results showed as many as 11 people who have high job satisfaction, and as many as four people have a low job satisfaction.

Abstrak. Kepuasan kerja merupakan sikap umum karyawan senang atau tidak senang terhadap pekerjaannya. Dalam Job Characteristic Model, model ini bertindak sebagai kerangka kerja untuk evaluasi pekerjaan salah satunya mengevaluasi dari adanya dampak perubahan pekerjaan yang secara intrinsik memuaskan individu, karena ada hubungan langsung antara pekerjaan dan peningkatan kepuasan kerja. Perubahan fungsi dan tugas yang lebih luas di PPSDM Aparatur memberi warna baru pada  karakteristik pekerjaan, dampak dari perubahan tersebut paling terasa pada pekerjaan Widyaiswara, sehingga karakteristik pada pekerjaan widyasiwara cenderung sesuai dengan core job dimensions. Adanya perubahan pekerjaan yang terjadi tidak begitu dirasa menjadi beban oleh para widyaiswara, para widyaiswara sebagian besar menunjukkan sikap positif, mereka merasa bahwa perubahan tersebut membuat mereka senang dan tertantang akan tugas yang dikerjakan, sehingga widyaiswara cenderung memiliki kepuasan kerja yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran kepuasan kerja berdasarkan teori Job Characteristic Models (JCM) pada widyaiswara. Metoda yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metoda deskriptif dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 15 orang Widyaiswara. Pengukuran menggunakan alat ukur kuesioner dengan alat ukur bernama JDS (Job Diagnostic Scale) berdasarkan teori Job Characteristic Model Hackman dan Oldham (1975). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan sebanyak 11 orang widyaiswara tergolong memiliki kepuasan kerja yang tinggi, dan sebanyak empat orang tergolong memiliki kepuasan kerja yang rendah.
