Hubungan Social Problem Solving dengan Agresifitas Siswa SMPN 2 Jatinangor
Abstract
Abstract. Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) as well as recent scientific study have reported thr ever increasing level of aggressiveness among Indonesian adolescents with no apparent record of it to subside. SMPN 2 Jatinangor is geographically located in an industrial area with many of its students are receivers of Kartu Indonesia Pintar (KIP) as they come from middle to lower economic class backgrounds. This school is also prone to rampant juvenile delinquency among its students in which they tend show indications of aggression and negativity while handling social problems instead of solving it altogether. This study aimed to describe Social Problem Solving and aggressiveness behaviour among students as well as to inquire relationship between them. Correlation techniques was applied on a total of 60 subjects selected by simple random sampling method from all KIP recipients in the school. We used the adapted version of D'Zurilla & Nezu social problem-solving measuring tools from Jiwika Mira as well as Buss & Perry measurement from Novi Septiani. The results showed rs = -0.556 (p-value 0.000<α=0.05) between Social Problem Solving and aggressiveness indicating moderate degree of negative correlation among them.

Abstrak. Agresi remaja Indonesia menurut KPAI mengalami peningkatan, begitupula terdapat penelitian menjelaskan kasus agresi pada remaja tidak pernah surut dan terus meningkat. SMPN 2 Jatinangor secara geografis terletak pada wilayah industri dan rentan akan maraknya kenakalan remaja memiliki banyak siswa dengan golongan ekonomi menengah kebawah dan menerima Kartu Indonesia Pintar. Sebagai remaja yang bergejolak Siswa menunjukan indikasi agresi dan menunjukan penyelesaian masalah sosial secara negatif alih-alih menyelesaikan masalahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh mana gambaran Social Problem Solving dengan perilaku Agresifitas Siswa serta bagaimana hubungan diantara keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi dengan Subjek sejumlah 60 siswa penerima KIP serta menggunakan sampling sederhana. Peneliti menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur social problem solving D’Zurilla & Nezu (2012) oleh Jiwika Mira (2016) dan adaptasi alat ukur Buss & Perry (1992) oleh Novi Septiani (2017). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan negatif sebesar rs = -0,556 dengan probabilitas (p-value) sebesar 0,000< α = 0,05 antara Social Problem Solving dengan Agresifitas. Nilai Korelasi diantara keduanya masuk pada kriteria derajat korelasi sedang.
