Kontribusi Trait Kepribadian Big Five Personality Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi pada Guru di Sekolah PPI(Pesantren Persatuan Islam) Bandung

Abstract. PPI Bandung is one of the Islamic boarding schools developed by a Persis organization (Islamic Union), which has various school policies with minimal income and limited (conventional) school facilities, but most teachers feel comfortable and always persevere to teach . This reflects the form of commitment to the organization (Steers & Porter, 1982), where the teacher's attitude is motivated by the diversity of personality traits (Costa & McCrae, 2003). The purpose of this research is to find out the big five personality contibus towards organizational commitment in PPI Bandung teachers. The organizational commitment measure used was adapted from the OCQ (Organizational Commitment Questionnaire), while the big five personality adapted from NEO-PI-R. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis analysis techniques to find the proportion of the contribution of the big five personality trait to organizational commitment. Based on the results partially, it shows that extraversion is the most significant factor contributing to organizational commitment (sig = 0.010)

Abstrak. Sekolah PPI Bandung merupakan salah satu pesantren Islam yang dikembangkan oleh suatu organisasi Persis (Persatuan Islam), yang memiliki berbagai kebijakan sekolah dengan penghasilan yang minim dan fasilitas sekolah yang terbatas (konvensional), akan tetapi sebagian besar guru merasa nyaman dan senantiasa tetap bertahan untuk mengajar. Hal ini  mencerminkan bentuk komitmennya terhadap organisasi (Steers & Porter, 1982), dimana sikap guru tersebut dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya keragaman sifat kepribadian (Costa & McCrae, 2003). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontibusi kepribadian big five terhadap komitmen organisasi pada guru PPI Bandung. Alat ukur komitmen organisasi yang digunakan mengadaptasi dari OCQ (Organizational Commitment Questionnaire), sedangkan kepribadian big five mengadaptasi dari NEO-PI-R. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis uji regresi linier berganda untuk mencari proporsi kontribusi trait kepribadian big five terhadap komitmen organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa extraversion merupakan trait yang paling signifikan memberikan kontribusi terhadap komitmen organisasi (sig = 0,010).
