Korelasi Dukungan Sosial Dengan Resiliensi Pada Individu Korban Perceraian

Abstract


Abstract. Divorce, of course, has a negative impact to children on the psychological condition, such as children feeling depressed, sad and disappointed. Sometimes, they express their feelings by behaving negatively. But not all children with divorced parents do the same thing but there are children who choose to join in Broken Home Community Bandung. Children who join in this community can sharing their problem with all members, gives support to each other, find solutions to problems and give motivation to members or hold social service activities. By join in this community, children get strength to survive and be a better person. The purpose of this study was to see how closely the relationship between social support and resilience to individual divorce victims in the Broken Home Community Bandung amounted 30 people. The measuring instrument used a social support variables using the Social Support Questionnaire (SSQ), compiled by Sarason, Levine, Basham and Sarason (1983), and a measuring tool for resilience variables derived by Benard (2004). Data processing used Rank Spearman correlation test. The results of this study are a close relationship between social support and resilience, there is a moderate relationship between social support aspects of perceived availability of social support and resilience and there is a close relationship between social support aspects of satisfaction with social support with resilience in children victims of divorce in Broken Home Bandung.

Abstrak. Perceraian, tentunya memberi dampak negatif pada kondisi psikologis anak, seperti anak merasa tertekan, sedih dan kecewa. Ada kalanya, mereka meluapkan perasaannya dengan berperilaku negatif. Namun tidak semua anak dengan orangtua yang bercerai melakukan hal yang sama tetapi ada juga anak yang bergabung dalam Komunitas Broken Home Bandung. Anak yang bergabung dalam komunitas ini dapat melakukan perilaku yang positif seperti sharing antar anggota, saling memberikan dukungan, mencari solusi masalah, memberikan motivasi antar anggota yang memiliki latar belakang sama atau mengadakan kegiatan bakti sosial. Dengan bergabung dalam komunitas ini, anak mendapatkan kekuatan untuk bertahan hidup dan berperilaku lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat seberapa erat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan resiliensi pada individu korban perceraian di Komunitas Broken Home Bandung yang berjumlah 30 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dengan variabel dukungan sosial menggunakan Social Support Questionnaire (SSQ), yang disusun oleh Sarason, Levine, Basham dan Sarason (1983), dan Alat ukur untuk variabel resiliensi yang diturunkan oleh Benard (2004). Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penilitian ini  terdapat hubungan yang erat antara dukungan sosial dengan resiliensi, terdapat hubungan yang sedang antara dukungan sosial aspek perceived availability of social support dengan resiliensi dan terdapat hubungan yang erat antara dukungan sosial aspek satisfaction with social support dengan resiliensi pada anak korban perceraian di Broken Home Bandung.
