Hubungan Gratitude dengan Organizational Commitment pada Surveyor PT. Transpacific Finance Cabang Padalarang

Abstract


Abstract. Surveyor has important role in every company because they have difficult task for responsible about condition and flow of costumer's payment. PT. Transpacific Finance is a finance company that has been around for 5 years, so feedbacks about their welfare are still low. Despite of the condition Surveyor feel as fortunate, they are pleased about sharing with other people and think what they have is a gift from God. That's what make them stay in this company. This research is a population research and use correlational technique on 20 Surveyors of PT. Transpacific Finance. The goal of this research is to get empirical data about causality correlation between gratitude and organizational commitment on Surveyor of PT. Transpacific Finance branch of Padalarang. The measuring instrument of gratitude used GRAT-R by Watkins, et al. (2003) and Organizational Commitment used Organizational Commitment Questionnaire by Richard T. Mowday, et al. (1979). Causality was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) which is Partial Least Square (PLS). The result shows a significant contribution with influence coefficient of 0.778 and R2 of 60.6% including medium influence, the rest 39,4% organizational commitment was affected by other factors outside the research.

Abstrak. Surveyor merupakan ujung tombak perusahaan memiliki pekerjaan yang dikatakan cukup sulit karena harus bertanggung jawab terhadap mengalirnya pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh nasabah. PT. Transpacific Finance merupakan perusahaan yang baru berdiri selama 5 tahun sebagai perusahaan pembiayaan, sehingga feedback mengenai kesejahteraan yang diberikan masih dikatakan minim. Meskipun demikian surveyor berusaha menerima pekerjaannya dengan menyadari bahwa masih terdapat kebaikan disetiap kesulitannya, dan  menganggap semua yang mereka miliki merupakan nikmat dari Tuhan. Hal ini membuat surveyor memilih untuk tetap bertahan di PT. Transpacific Finance. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi yang dilakukan pada 20 surveyor PT. Transpacific Finance cabang Padalarang, dengan menggunakan teknik korelasional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai hubungan kausalitas pada Gratitude terhadap Komitmen Organisasi pada surveyor PT. Transpacific Finance cabang Padalarang. Alat ukur Gratitude menggunakan GRAT-R oleh Watkins,dkk. (2003) dan Komitmen Organisasi menggunakan Organizational Commitment Questionnaire oleh Richard T. Mowday, dkk. (1979). Analisis kausalitas yang digunakan adalah  metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) yaitu Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kontribusi yang signifikan dengan  nilai koefisien pengaruh adalah 0.778 dan R2 sebesar 60,6% termasuk dalam pengaruh sedang,  sisanya 39.4% komitmen organisasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar penelitian.
