The Request of Mitra Emas iB Maslahah Financing According to Imam Al-Ghazali Thinking (A Case Study in PT Bank Jabar Banten Syariah)

Abstract

Gold partner Maslahah iB is a gold-backed products qardh where banks provide financing facilities to customers of the collateral in the form of gold jewelry, gold/bullion (precious metals) or gold coins from the client by following the principles qardh and Rahn. Demand is the large quantity of goods demanded in a given market at a given price level to the level of income and in a certain period. The demand curve down from "top left to bottom right" is explained by Imam Al-Ghazali as "the price can be lowered by reducing demand". The problems of this research is how the execution of the request iB Maslahah Gold Partner, how the development of demand iB Maslahah Gold Partner, and how to request financing iB Maslahah Gold Partner in PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah according to the thinking of Imam Al-Ghazali. So the purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of demand of Gold iB Maslahah, know the development demand iB Maslahah Gold Partner, and to determine funding requests iB Maslahah Gold Partner in PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah according to Imam Al-Ghazali. The research was done at the headquarters of PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah using data outstanding Gold Partner iB Maslahah the period 2011 to 2015. The data used in this study are primary data as obtained directly from the headquarters of PT. Bank Jabar Banten Syariah. Data analysis in this research was descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the financing request iB Maslahah Gold Partners have increased from 2011 to 2012 and decreased over from 2013 to 2015. The development of the financing request iB Maslahah always decline caused by Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No. 14/7 / DPbS/2012, due to the adverse case gold pawn customers, as well as the statement that the pledge of gold is haraam. There is no financing demand conformity Gold Partner iB Maslahah with demand theory Imam Al-Ghazali.
