The Abuse of Authority Performed By Prison Officials Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 6 of 2013 on Penal Code and State Prison

Abstract

Coaching is an activity conducted efficiently to get better results. In essence the prisoners as human beings and human resources should be treated well and humanely in one integrated coaching system. The treatment of prisoners by correctional system based on Pancasila and the Constitution of 1945, which is the final part of the criminal system. The penitentiary system here is a series of law enforcement aimed at keeping prisoners realized his mistake, to improve themselves, and not to repeat the criminal act that can be received by the community, can actively participate in the development, and can be normal life as a good citizen and responsible , This research is normative. The data that is relevant to this study is more focused on secondary data obtained through the study of literature or literature, which is subsequently analyzed by descriptive analytical. The results showed that, basically cases are rife in Indonesia regarding abuse of authority committed unscrupulous wardens in the implementation of coaching prisons is contrary to the objectives Punishment and Systems Punishment itself, because in general to restore the prisoners into the community at large by coaching decent accordance with the objectives of punishment which became the primary intention of Prisons which then in its implementation required the discipline of social life within the Penitentiary and the Code of conduct for all Prison officials to provide guidance to both the PLT and in everyday behavior.
