Analisis Peluang Pilihan Jenis Transportasi Umum pada Masyarakat Kota Bandung

Abstract

Abstract. The existence of online transportation, with certain service tariffs and specifications have provided additional choices of types of public transportation for the public. This study aims to estimate the qualitative econometrics model which can explain the shift in the opportunity for people to choose city transportation, taxibike, bus and online transportation. The method in this study used the multinomial logit method estimated by the econometric approach. Data used is primary data which obtained through distributing questionnaires to Bandung City society who do not have a vehicle. Repeated estimation results, to obtain economically logical models, meet the criteria of statistics and econometrics, information was obtained that the opportunity to shift the choice of Bandung City society towards the type of public transportation was significantly explained by the intensity of public transportation use, convenience, income level, ownership of online transportation applications, and tariffs. The type of online transportation is a comparison of Bandung City society on every type of public transportation choice. Every change in explanatory variables has the potential to change people's choice of opportunities for city transportation, taxibike, and bus, relative to online transportation.

Abstrak. Keberadaan transportasi online, dengan tarif dan spesifikasi layanan tertentu telah memberikan tambahan pilihan jenis transportasi umum atau publik bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi model ekonometrika kualitatif yang dapat menjelaskan pergeseran peluang masyarakat untuk memilih moda transportasi umum angkot, ojek, bus dan transportasi online. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode multinomial logit yang diestimasi dengan pendekatan ekonometrika. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada masyarakat kota Bandung yang tidak memiliki kendaraan. Hasil estimasi berulang, untuk memperoleh model yang logis secara ekonomi, memenuhi kriteria statistik dan ekonometrika. Diperoleh informasi bahwa peluang pergeseran pilihan masyarakat Kota Bandung terhadap jenis transportasi umum, signifikan dijelaskan oleh tingkat pendapatan, intensitas penggunaan transportasi umum, kepemilikan aplikasi transportasi online, tarif, dan kenyamanan. Jenis transportasi online menjadi pembanding masyarakat Kota Bandung pada setiap pilihan jenis transportasi umum. Setiap perubahan variabel penjelas berpotensi mengubah peluang pilihan masyarakat terhadap angkot, ojek, dan bus, relatif terhadap transportasi online.
