Karakteristik Anak Autisme di RS Al-Islam dan Yayasan Suryakanti Kota Bandung (Studi Usia, Jenis Kelamin, Usia Saat Diagnostik, Terapi, Skor Diet Bebas Gluten Bebas Kasein, dan Skor Perilaku Health/Physical/Behavior)

Abstract: Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, communication, and behavior. Behavior in children with autism is influenced by dietary gluten free and casein free, as in autism occurred disruption in mucosa hipermeability that cause gluten and casein is difficult to be digested by the body and forming caseomorphine and gluteomorphine, two peptides can affect the central nervous system and cause behavioral disorders. The purpose of this study was to see the characteristic of children with autism by Age, Gender, Age At Diagnostic, Therapeutic, Gluten Free Casein Free Diet Score, And Health/Physical/Behavior Score.This study was an observational study with cross sectional design conducted in growth and development clinic of Al-Islam hospital and the Suryakanti Foundation Bandung. Sample were 31 subjects are taken using the total population method. Data collected iclude identity of the sample, the frequency of dietary gluten and casein obtained through interviews using FFQ and autism behavior score was obtained from interviews using the ATEC score. Autism were higher in male (83.87%) than women, with age between six to nine years (67,75%). Age diagnosed with autism predominantly between 1-2 years (48.39%), the majority of the subject is not on the diet (67.75%), gluten frequency scores are at a low level (55%), casein frequency scores are at a low level (81% ), and a score of ATEC dominated in interval 22-24 (25.80%). 

Abstrak: Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan yang ditandai dengan gangguan kualitatif pada interaksi sosial, gangguan komunikasi, dan perilaku. Perilaku pada anak autisme dipengaruhi oleh diet bebas gluten dan bebas kasein, karena pada penderita autisme terjadi gangguan hipermeabilitas mukosa usus yang menyebabkan gluten dan kasein sulit untuk dicerna oleh tubuh dan membentuk caseomorphine dan gluteomorphine, kedua peptida tersebut dapat mempengaruhi sistem saraf pusat dan menimbulkan gangguan perilaku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat karakteristik anak autisme berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin, usia saat diagnostik, terapi, skor diet bebas gluten dan bebas kasein, dan skor perilaku health/physical/behavior. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di poli tumbuh kembang RS Al-Islam dan Yayasan Suryakanti Bandung. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 31 subjek diambil menggunakan metode total populasi. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa identitas sampel, data frekuensi diet gluten dan kasein diperoleh melalui wawancara menggunakan FFQ dan skor perilaku autisme diperoleh dari wawancara menggunakan skor ATEC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas Penderita autisme berusia enam hingga sembilan tahun (67,75%), lebih banyak pada laki-laki (83,87%) dibandingkan perempuan. Usia terdiagnosis autisme didominasi antara 1-2 tahun (48,39%), mayoritas subjek tidak menjalankan diet (67,75%), skor frekuensi gluten berada pada tingkat rendah (55%), skor frekuensi kasein berada pada tingkat rendah (81%), dan skor ATEC didominasi tingkat menengah di interval 22-24 (25,80%).
