Perubahan Lama Screen Time, Pola Tidur, dan Pola Makan pada Anak Sebelum dengan Setelah Kebijakan Belajar di Rumah

Abstract


Abstract. 2020 is a year full of challenges for every individual in all parts of the world because of the Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic affects in education, have imposed restrictions on social interaction through school closures. The social restrictions needed to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in children have increased activity temporarily, changed routine activities at home, and decreased opportunities for children and adolescents to engage in outdoor physical activity. This study aims to determine changes in screen time, diet, and sleep patterns before and after the learning from home policy of students of SD Jambudipa 1, Cianjur City aged 11–12 years. The research was conducted during March–December 2020 by distributing questionnaires to 125 elementary students. This study used an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional design. Data processing used SPSS version 24 and statistical analysis using paired T-test. The results of this study indicate that there are changes in screen time duration, sleep patterns, and dietary patterns before and after the learning from home policy. The results of statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences in screen time (p = 0.001) and sleep patterns (p = 0.02). The conclusion of this study shows that there are significant differences in screen time and sleep patterns before and after the learning from home policy of students at SD Jambudipa 1 Cianjur City aged 11–12 years.

Abstrak. Tahun 2020 menjadi tahun yang penuh tantangan bagi setiap individu di seluruh belahan dunia karena terjadi pandemi Covid-19. Pandemi ini memengaruhi bidang pendidikan, yaitu dengan memberlakukan pembatasan interaksi sosial melalui penutupan sekolah. Pembatasan sosial yang diperlukan untuk mengurangi penyebaran Covid-19 pada anak telah meningkatkan aktivitas sedentari, mengubah rutinitas aktivitas di rumah, dan menurunkan kesempatan bagi anak dan remaja untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas fisik di luar ruangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perubahan lama screen time, pola tidur, dan pola makan sebelum dengan setelah kebijakan belajar di rumah pada siswa SD Jambudipa 1 Kota Cianjur usia 11–12 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Maret–Desember 2020 dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada siswa SD sebanyak 125 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS versi 24 dan analisis statistik menggunakan uji T berpasangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan lama screen time, pola tidur, dan pola makan sebelum dengan setelah kebijakan belajar di rumah. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada screen time (p=0,001) dan pola tidur  (p=0,02). Simpulan penelitian ini, terdapat perbedaan screen time dengan pola tidur sebelum dan setelah kebijakan belajar di rumah pada siswa SD Jambudipa 1 Kota Cianjur usia 11–12 tahun.
