Angka Kejadian Pelecehan Seksual pada Pekerja Wanita di Pabrik Tekstil X di Kota Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. In 2018 violence in the community reached 3,528 cases in Indonesia, where sexual violence ranked first with 2,670 cases (76%). There were 3 of the most common sexual violence in the community, namely molestation (911 cases), sexual harassment (708 cases), and rape (669 cases). Based on annual records in Indonesia the incidence of violence against women based on the province of West Java ranked third (29.2 %). The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of sexual harassment among female workers in the X textile factory in Bandung. The study used an observational descriptive method using a cross sectional approach in the period from October to November 2019. The research data was taken by filling sexual experiences questionnaire (SEQ). Samples were taken by consecutive sampling method with research subjects of 75 female workers in the textile factory X in Bandung. The results of this study indicate that the incidence of sexual harassment of female workers in textile factory X was 73.3%. The most common types of sexual harassment were impolite stories and jokes (45.3%), commenting on the body rudely (28%) and shoud work cooperatively to be treated well (21.3%). The most severe harassment was to scare the female workers if she refused to have sex (4%). The high incidence of sexual harassment requires counseling regarding sexual harassment laws to the public.

Abstrak. Di Indonesia pada tahun 2018 kekerasan di lingkungan masyarakat mencapai 3.528 kasus, dimana kekerasan seksual menempati urutan pertama sebanyak 2.670 kasus (76%). Terdapat 3 kekerasan seksual yang paling banyak di masyarakat, yaitu pencabulan (911 kasus), pelecehan seksual (708 kasus), dan pemerkosaan (669 kasus) Berdasarkan catatan tahunan di Indonesia kejadian kekerasan terhadap perempuan berdasarkan provinsi Jawa Barat menduduki urutan ketiga (29,2%). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui angka kejadian pelecehan seksual pada pekerja wanita di pabrik tekstil X di Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional pada periode Oktober – November 2019. Data penelitian diambil dengan menyebar sexual experiences questionnaire (SEQ). Sampel diambil dengan metode consecutive sampling dengan subjek penelitian yaitu pekerja wanita sebanyak 75 responden di pabrik tekstil X di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat angka kejadian pelecehan seksual pada pekerja wanita di pabrik tekstil X adalah sebanyak 73,3%.  Jenis pelecehan seksual tersering adalah cerita/lelucon yang tidak sopan (45,3%), mengomentari tubuh secara tidak sopan (28%) dan harus bekerja kooperatif agar diperlakukan dengan baik (21,3%). Pelecehan terberat adalah dibuat takut karena menolak ajakan untuk berhubungan seksual (4%). Tingginya angka kejadian pelecehan, diperlukan penyuluhan mengenai hukum mengenai pelecehan seksual kepada masyarakat.
