Gambaran Gerakan Shalat pada Lansia Dengan Keluhan Nyeri Muskuloskeletal di Posbindu

Abstract


Abstract. Chronic pain was the highest health complaint in the elderly, where the most common cause comes from musculoskeletal conditions. salat, besides as a spiritual act, it can also act as a form of exercise that is done slowly and moderately. The purpose of this study is to know the description of the salat movement and musculoskeletal pain intensity in elderly at Posbindu Cijerah. This study used a descriptive method with a cross sectional study design. The study sample was elderly with complaints of musculoskeletal pain in the Posbindu region that met the inclusion criteria and were not included in the exclusion criteria. Samples were selected by consecutive sampling and obtained as many as 25 respondents. The instrument used was the checklist of Salat movement and The Face Pain Scale-Revisied (FPS-R). The results showed that the elderly with complaints of musculoskeletal pain most of the salat movements were appropriate and the intensity of musculoskeletal pain was in the moderate category. Decreased skeletal muscle strength, increased bone fragility and decreased joint synovial fluid in the elderly can provide a noxious stimulus that stimulates nociceptors and musculoskeletal pain occurs.

Abstrak. Nyeri kronik merupakan keluhan kesehatan yang paling tinggi pada lansia, dimana penyebab terseringnya berasal dari kondisi muskuloskeletal. Shalat, selain sebagai tindakan spiritual, juga bisa bertindak sebagai bentuk latihan fisik yang dilakukan perlahan & moderat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran gerakan shalat dan Intenstas nyeri muskuloskeletal pada lansia di posbindu Cijerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Sampel penelitian adalah lansia dengan keluhan nyeri muskuloskeletal di wilayah posbindu yang sesuai kriteria inklusi dan tidak termasuk kriteria eksklusi. Sampel dipilih secara consecutive sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 25 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Checklist gerakan shalat & Face Pain Scale-Revisied (FPS-R). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lansia dengan keluhan nyeri muskuloskeletal sebagian besar gerakan shalatnya sesuai dan intensitas nyeri muskuloskeletal nya termasuk kategori sedang. Penurunan kekuatan otot skelet, meningkatnya kerapuhan tulang dan penurunan cairan sinovial sendi pada usia lanjut dapat memberikan stimulus noksius sehingga merangsang nosiseptor dan terjadilah nyeri muskuloskeletal.
