Pengaruh Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan

Abstract

Abstract.The application of the Principles of Good Corporate Governance can be used as a benchmark for company performance. The phenomenon that occurs is marked by losses incurred by BUMN companies. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the principles of good corporate governance on company performance. This research is motivated by the fact that the increase in company performance is determined by the application of the principles of good corporate governance. The research method used is an empirical method with descriptive and verification approaches, because there are variables to be explained and analyzed how much influence these variables have. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires that had been tested for their validity and reliability. This research was conducted at 5 state-owned companies in the city of Bandung with a sample size of 40 respondents. Statistical data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the application of the principles of good corporate governance has a significant effect on company performance. The better the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance, the better the company's performance will be.

Abstrak. Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance dapat dijadikan suatu tolak ukur kinerja Perusahaan .Fenomena yang terjadi ditandai dengan adanya kerugian yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan BUMN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  Pengaruh Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa peningkatan kinerja perusahaan ditentukan oleh Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode empiris dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan verifikatif, karena ada variabel yang akan dijelaskan dan dianalisa seberapa besar pengaruh dari variabel tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuisioner yang telah diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 5 perusahaan BUMN di Kota Bandung dengan jumlah sampel 40 responden. Analisa data statistik menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Semakin baik Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance maka akan semakin peningkatan kinerja perusahaan.
