Persepsi Mahasiswa STIKOM InterStudi pada Program Acara Tonight Show di NET Televisi

Abstract

Abstract. This research is to know the perception of STIKOM InterStudi students towards the Tonight Show program on NET Television. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive method with non-probability sampling as a sample. The technique of collecting data with the survey method is the subject of this research. The results of this study indicate that the perception of STIKOM InterStudi students towards this talk show is understood as a program that is able to provide information and entertainment for the audience. Explanative analysis technique with inferential statistics and crosstab test. The results of this study indicate that STIKOM InterStudy students get satisfaction in indicators of information, personal identity and entertainment, and do not get satisfaction in indicators of integration and social interaction.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa STIKOM InterStudi terhadap program acara Tonight Show di NET Televisi. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel non probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode survei yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa STIKOM InterStudi terhadap acara talkshow ini dipahami sebagai program acara yang mampu memberikan informasi dan hiburan bagi penonton. Teknik analisis eksplanatif dengan statistik inferensial serta uji crosstab. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa STIKOM InterStudi mendapatkan kepuasan dalam indikator informasi, identitas pribadi dan hiburan, dan tidak mendapatkan kepuasan dalam indikator integrasi dan interaksi sosial.
