Hubungan antara Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional dengan Work Engagement Studi pada Karyawan Freelance PT X Consultant Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. PT. X Consultant Bandung is a company that engaged in psychological services with the various kind of task like assessment, counseling and training. In this company there are 26 freelance employees who are not given monthly salary, and benefits, but these freelance employees remain loyal to the company and even exert all capabilities until corporate profits increase. In addition, In this company there are leaders who can facilitate, and accommodate the ability of employee, this indicates that there are characteristics of transformational leadership style. Based on that phenomenon, then the question in this research is "How Closely Relationship Between Transformational Leadership Style with Work engagement At Freelance Employees at PT. X Consultant Bandung?" The purpose of this research is to get an empirical picture of the relationship between transformational leadership style with Work engagement on the freelance employees at PT. X Consultant Bandung. The method used in this research is correlation method with population study to 26 freelance employees. Statistical technique using Rank Spearman correlation technique. Based on the results of data processing, the result obtained rs = 0.643 it shows that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership style with Work engagement of the freelance employees at PT. X Consultant Bandung.

Abstrak,  PT X Consultant Bandung adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa psikologi dengan ruang lingkup pekerjaannya meliputi assessment, counseling dan training. Di perusahaan ini terdapat 26 Karyawan freelance yang setiap bulannya tidak diberikan gaji/bulan dan tunjangan dari perusahaan, tetapi karyawan freelance ini tetap menetap diperusahaan bahkan mengerahkan segala kemampuan sampai profit perusahaan meningkat. Di perusahaan ini terdapat pemimpin yang dapat memfasilitasi, dan mewadahi kemampuan karyawannya agar berkembang, hal ini menunjukan bahwa adanya karakteristik gaya kepemimpinan transformasional. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, maka permasalahan dalam penelitian ini  adalah “Seberapa Erat Hubungan antara Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional dengan Work engagement Pada Karyawan Freelance di PT. X Consultant Bandung ?” Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran empirik mengenai hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan Work engagement pada karyawan freelance di PT. X Consultant Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan studi populasi terhadap 26 karyawan freelance. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dan kuisoner. Teknik statistik menggunakan teknik korelasi Rank Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh = 0.643 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara persepsi gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dengan Work engagement karyawan freelance PT. X Consultant Bandung
