Studi Deskriptif Adversity Quotient pada Guru Honorer Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sapan Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. This research is based on the phenomenon of SD Negeri Sapan which is one of the inclusion schools in Bandung, where teachers teach regular students and students with disabilities. Honorary teachers deal with situations where regular students often disturb students with disabilities. This school does not provide facilities and infrastructure for support students with disabilities complete. The honorary teacher does not receive the salary as it should. This measurement would like to see the description and level of Adversity Quotient on honor teachers with different education backgrounds. The data collection is done by using a measuring instrument that was developed based on the dimensions of the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) of Paul G. Stolz describes all of the aspect of AQ such are; control, origin and ownership, reach and endurance. Based on the results of data processing is known that AQ of honorary teacher has high Adversity Quotient with 80% (8 people) and medium category with 20% (2 people). It proves that teachers are able to face the difficulty in teaching because it has a relatively high score of AQ.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena yang terdapat di SD Negeri Sapan yang merupakan salah satu sekolah inklusi di Kabupaten Bandung, dimana guru-guru mengajar siswa reguler dan siswa Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Guru honorer dihadapkan pada situasi dimana siswa reguler sering mengganggu siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Sekolah ini tidak tersedia sarana dan prasarana untuk fasilitas yang menunjang siswa ABK secara lengkap. Guru honorer tidak menerima upah sebagaimana seharusnya. Pengukuran ini ingin melihat gambaran dan tingkatan Adversity Quotient pada guru honorer dengan latar belakang pendidikan guru yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian dilakukan dengan alat ukur skala psikologi, dimana alat ukur yang digunakan adalah alat ukur baku Adversity Response Profile (ARP) dari Paul G Stoltz yang menggambarkan tiap-tiap aspek dari AQ yakni; control, origin and ownership, reach, dan endurance. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diketahui bahwa AQ guru honorer memiliki Adversity Quotient yang tinggi dengan 80% (8 orang) dan kategori sedang dengan 20% (2 orang). Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa guru-guru mampu menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengajar karena memiliki AQ yang relatif tinggi.
