Hubungan antara Locus Of Control dan Gaya Hidup Hedonis pada Anggota Organisasi Growth and Youth (Studi pada Remaja yang Berstatus Pelajar SMA)

Abstract. Growth and Youth is an organization consisting of active teens who regularly carry out activities of entertainment on weekends. Growth and Youth members have a habit of appearing up to date, through performances and goods are relatively expensive, have more gadgets and private vehicles, other than that they have a habit to have fun with various activities outside of school. Interest Growth and Youth members in conducting these activities is that they can have fun and still exist in the environment, social life is very important for them, environmental response is considered very significant for members of the Growth and Youth. Environmental control themselves in the act, those with an external locus of control tend to believe that the cause of the behavioral consequences derived from the environment. Seeing how lifestyle member Growth and Youth lifestyle that includes lifestyle of hedonism. Lifestyle describe the whole person that interacts with its environment, while the definition of hedonism is the doctrine that pleasure is the most important thing in life, or hedonism is the idea espoused by those who seek the pleasure of living alone. The purpose of research is to see the relationship locus of control to the lifestyle of hedonism that occurs in young members of the Growth and Youth.The method used in this study is correlational method with a total population of 21 members with the category of teenagers are still a high school student.Based on the data processing using the Spearman rank method showed rs = 0.683.Thus we can say there is a strong relationshipbetweenLocusOfControlLifestyleHedonist.

 

Abstrak. Growth and Youth adalah sebuah organisasi yang beranggotakan para remaja aktif yang rutin melaksanakan kegiatan hiburan di akhir pekan. Anggota Growth and Youth memiliki kebiasaan untuk tampil secara up to date, melalui penampilan dan barang-barang yang relatif mahal, memiliki gadget dan kendaraan pribadi, selain itu mereka memiliki kebiasaan untuk bersenang-senang dengan melakukan berbagai kegiatan diluar sekolah. Tujuan anggota Growth and Youth dalam melakukan kegiatan tersebut adalah agar mereka bisa bersenang-senang dan tetap eksis di lingkungannya, kehidupan sosial sangat penting bagi mereka, respon lingkungan dinilai sangat berarti bagi anggota Growth and Youth. Lingkungan  mengontrol diri mereka dalam berperilaku, orang dengan eksternal locus of control cenderung percaya bahwa penyebab konsekuensi perilaku berasal dari lingkungan. Melihat bagaimana gaya hidup anggota Growth and Youth gaya hidup tersebut termasuk gaya hidup hedonisme. Gaya hidup menggambarkan keseluruhan diri seseorang yang berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya, sedangkan definisi hedonisme adalah doktrin yang menyatakan bahwa kesenangan adalah hal yang paling penting dalam hidup, atau hedonisme adalah paham yang dianut oleh orang-orang yang mencari kesenangan hidup semata-mata. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat hubungan locus of control dengan gaya hidup hedonisme yang terjadi pada anggota remaja Growth and Youth.
