Hubungan Social Support dengan Compliance pada Pasien Rehabilitasi Stroke di Rumah Sakit Al-Islam Bandung

Abstract

Abstract. There are many obstacles appeared after stroke attack happened, generally the patients experience some disabilities. Stroke can also push the appearance of psychological influence in a form of emotional disorder, the patients’ feeling become more sensitive, disappointed and gave up. Family should support the patients’ self-care. On the other hand, social support from family is needed. How quickly the stroke patients’ healing process from disability is also influenced by patients’ compliance levels in rehabilitating. Based on the interview result with the stroke rehabilitation patient in Al-Islam Bandung hospital, they said that they need support and help from family. However, there are some patients felt that they get a little social support from their family, this condition is not suitable with the patients’ hope. The aim of this research is to see how far the closeness of relation between social support and compliance to the stroke patients in doing rehabilitation in Al-Islam Bandung hospital. The hypothesis of this research, there is a positive relationship between social support and compliance to the patient of stroke rehabilitation in Al-Islam Bandung hospital. Subject of the research are 21 people and it use Rank Spearman Correlation to analyze the data, it is got that rs = 0, 463. It can be concluded that there is a positive relationship significant correlation between social support and compliance to the patient of stroke rehabilitation in Al-Islam Bandung hospital.

 

Abstrak. Ada banyak gejala yang timbul setelah terjadinya serangan stroke, umumnya pasien mengalami beberapa kecacatan. Stroke juga dapat memicu timbulnya pengaruh psikologis berupa gangguan emosional, perasaan penderita menjadi lebih sensitif, kecewa dan putus asa. Keluarga perlu mendukung keterbatasan perawatan diri pasien, oleh karena itu social support dari keluarga sangat diperlukan. Cepat lambatnya proses kesembuhan pasien stroke dari kecacatan dipengaruhi juga oleh tingkat compliance pasien melakukan rehabilitasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pasien rehabilitasi stroke di Rumah Sakit Al-Islam Bandung, mereka mengatakan bahwa sangat membutuhkan dukungan dan bantuan dari keluarga. Namun terdapat beberapa pasien yang merasa kurang mendapatkan social support dari kelurga, hal tersebut tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana keeratan hubungan antara social support dengan compliance pada pasien stroke dalam mengikuti rehabilitasi di Rumah Sakit Al-Islam Bandung. Hipotesis penelitiannya adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara social support dengan compliance pada pasien rehabilitasi stroke di Rumah Sakit Al-Islam Bandung. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 21 orang. pengolahan data menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman, diperoleh rs = 0,463. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dengan korelasi cukup berarti antara social support dengan compliance pada pasien rehabilitasi stroke di Rumah Sakit Al-Islam Bandung.
