Pengaruh Kesabaran Terhadap Kecemasan Selama Pandemi Pada Usia Dewasa Awal di Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstract


Abstract. The city of Tasikmalaya is one of the areas in West Java that is included in the red zone with a high number of Covid-19 patients. According to previous research, this situation has an impact on mental health, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of restlessness, fear, worry about the object of an uncertain situation and causes alertness. One of the factors that influence anxiety is patience. This research is motivated because the picture of patience indicates high in the City of Tasikmalaya, but based on the pre-survey anxiety is still unavoidable or persists. This study aims to see how big the influence of patience on anxiety during the pandemic in early adulthood in Tasikmalaya City. The design of this research is causality non-experiment quantitative. The sample is 400 residents of Tasikmalaya City, using purposive sampling technique with criteria for early adulthood (18-25 years) and domiciled in Tasikmalaya City. Data were collected through the Yusuf. U, Patience Questionnaire (2021) and for the anxiety variable through HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis test, it shows that there is an effect of patience on anxiety during a pandemic in early adulthood in Tasikmalaya City with a coefficient value = 0.000 with (p <0.05) H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The result of R Square = 0.161 means that 16.1% of patience can be a predictor of the y variable (anxiety) during a pandemic and the remaining 83.9% is explained by other factors. The result of the t value = -8.133 because it is negative, the increase in patience can affect the lower anxiety.

Abstrak. Kota Tasikmalaya menjadi salah satu daerah di Jawa Barat yang termasuk ke dalam zona merah dengan penderita pasien Covid-19 yang tinggi. Menurut riset sebelumnya situasi tersebut ternyata berdampak pada kesehatan mental, yang salah satunya adalah kecemasan. Kecemasan merupakan perasaan gelisah, takut, khawatir terhadap objek situasi yang tidak pasti dan menimbulkan kewaspadaan. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kecemasan adalah sabar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena gambaran kesabaran mengindikasikan tinggi di Kota Tasikmalaya, namun berdasarkan pra-survey kecemasan masih tidak dapat dihindari atau tetap terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh dari kesabaran terhadap kecemasan selama pandemi pada usia dewasa awal di Kota Tasikmalaya. Desain penelitian ini yaitu kausalitas non-eksperimen kuantitatif. Sampel berjumlah 400 orang warga Kota Tasikmalaya, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria berusia dewasa awal (18-25 tahun) dan berdomisili di Kota Tasikmalaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui Kuesioner Kesabaran Yusuf. U, (2021) dan untuk variabel kecemasan melalui HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kesabaran terhadap kecemasan selama pandemi pada usia dewasa awal di Kota Tasikmalaya dengan nilai koefisien = 0.000 dengan (p<0.05) H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil R Square = 0.161 artinya sebesar 16.1% kesabaran dapat menjadi prediktor variabel y (kecemasan) selama pandemi dan sisanya 83.9% dijelaskan faktor lain. Hasil nilai t = -8.133 karena bersifat negatif maka meningkatnya kesabaran dapat memengaruhi rendahnya kecemasan.
