Studi Kontribusi Perceived Organizational Support Terhadap Employee Well-Being Karyawan Hotel Grandia Kota Bandung

Abstract


Abstract. Employee’s well-being in Hotel industry is important as it would give good service and would eventually contribute to costumer’s satisfaction. This study aims to examine the strenght of perceived organizational support contribution to employee well-being on Hotel Grandia Bandung employees. The method used is contribution study and quantitative approach. The study’ subject is 38 employees of Hotel Grandia Bandung. The instruments used in this study are survey of perceived organzational support based on Eisenberger (1986) and employee well-being scale based on employee well-being Page & Vella-Brodick (2009) which both are adapted by Author. Data analysis used in this study is multiple regression method. Results revealed that perceieved organizational support has a significant impact simultaneously with significant rate 0.000 < 0.05, and positive impact to employee well-being up to 52% and from 2 dimension of perceievd organizational support, only Statements referring to actions affecting the employee that the organization would be likely to take in hypothetical situations dimension that has a significant impact partially with rate 0.00 < 0.05, the other dimension, evaluative judgement attributes to the organization dimension (0.721 > 0.05).

Abstrak.Kesejahteraan karyawan di industri Hotel perhotelan itu penting karena hal tersebut akan memengaruhi pelayanan yang baik yang akann berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap employee well-being pada karyawan Hotel Grandia Bandung. Metode yang digunakan studi kontribusi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif. Seluruh populasi menjadi subjek penelitian, sebanyak 38 karyawan. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah survey of perceived organzational support oleh teori Eisenberger (1986) employee well-being scale yang telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti teori employee well-being Page & Vella-Brodick (2009) yang keduanya telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Regresi linier berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel perceieved organizational support  memengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel employee well-being sebesar 52% dan dari 2 dimensi perceieved organizational support, hanya dimensi Statements referring to actions affecting the employee that the organization would be likely to take in hypothetical situations yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan (0.00<0.05) sedangkan dimensi evaluative judgement attributes to the organization tidak (0.721 > 0.05).
