Pengaruh Dukungan Sosial terhadap Work-Family Conflict pada Polwan dengan Status Menikah

Abstract


Abstract. Work-family conflict was a type of interrole conflict which was a mismatch between the demands of roles originating work or family with contradicting in several aspects. According to Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) social support could reduce the pressure of certain roles or create a Work-Family balance, directly. This reaseach aimed to determine the effect of social support of pair and work places on Work-Family Conflict to Police Women with Marital Status at Polrestabes Bandung. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis techniques. This research method used a total population study. The measuring instrument used in this study was the Work-family conflict Scale measurement tool which was designed by Carlson, Kacmar, and Williams. (2000). This measuring tool has been adapted into Indonesian by Kuntari, (2017). And social support measures from Parasuraman, Greenhaus, Granrose (1992) with reference to the theory of House (1983) which has been adapted by Nindyasari, (2015). Based on the results of the reaseach, it was found that social support of pair and the workplace had a negative effect on to work-family conflict among police women officers with marital status at the Bandung Police was 54.3%.

Abstrak. Work-family conflict adalah sebuah bentuk interrole conflict yang merupakan ketidakcocokan antara tuntutan peran yang berasal dari pekerjaan atau keluarga yang saling bertentangan dalam beberapa hal. Menurut Greenhaus & Beutell (1985) dukungan sosial dapat secara langsung mengurangi tekanan peran tertentu atau dapat menciptakan adanya Work-Family balance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh  Dukungan Sosial pasangan dan tempat kerja terhadap Work-Family Conflict Pada Polisi Wanita dengan Status Menikah di Polrestabes Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan total population study. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur Work-family conflict Scale yang dirancang oleh Carlson, Kacmar, dan Williams. (2000). Alat ukur ini telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh Kuntari, (2017). Dan alat ukur dukungan sosial dari Parasuraman, Greenhaus, Granrose. (1992) dengan acuan teori House (1983)  yang telah diadaptasi oleh Nindyasari, (2015). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa Dukungan sosial dari pasangan dan dari tempat kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap work-family conflict pada polisi wanita dengan status menikah di Polrestabes Bandung yaitu sebesar 54,3%.
