Studi Deskriptif Mengenai Kepuasan Pernikahan pada Pasangan Suami Istri TNI- AD

Abstract


Abstract. In general, in general, a husband and wife are married under one roof and spend time together as well. However, there are also not many couples who have to undergo long-distance marriages because of a task or work that must be undertaken and is an obligation. This is what is experienced by the husband and wife of the TNI AD soldiers where the husband is required to carry out his duties as an Army soldier. Being the wife of a soldier who must be someone who can be an encouragement for her husband. As a wife, a TNI member is expected to be able to give up her husband to go to work, because the task must be carried out. The wives of TNI members are required to be mature, independent, and resilient as long as their husbands leave them, as well as husbands who have obligations as members of the TNI AD. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of the marriage satisfaction of a married couple of the Army Battalion X Battalion X Bandung. The theory used in this research is the Marriage Satisfaction Theory (Fowers, Blaine J and Olson, David H, 1993). The method used is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a population of 50 husband and wife couples. Based on the results of data processing that has been done, it was found that 52% of husbands are in the high category and 56% of the wives are in the high category. All aspects of marital satisfaction fall into the high categories of communication, leisure, sexual relations, child care, religious conflict resolution, financial management, friend and family relationships, personality, and equality.

Abstrak. Pada kebanyakan umumnya dalam suatu pernikahan dijalani oleh suami istri dalam satu atap bersama dan menghabiskan waktu bersama pula. Namun tak banyak pula terdapat beberapa pasangan yang harus menjalani pernikahan jarak jauh dikarenakan adanya tugas maupun pekerjaan yang harus dijalani dan merupakan sebuah kewajiban. Hal inilah yang dijalani pasangan suami istri prajurit TNI AD dimana sang suami diharuskan untuk mengemban kewajiban tugas sebagai prajurit TNI AD. Menjadi istri seorang tentara dimana harus menjadi seorang yang mampu menjadi penyemangat bagi suaminya. Sebagai istri anggota TNI diharapkan dapat merelakan suami pergi untuk urusan pekerjaan, karena tugas memang harus dijalankan. Istri anggota TNI dituntut untuk menjadi dewasa, mandiri, dan tangguh selama ditinggal suami, begitu pula dengan suami yang memiliki kewajibannya sebagai anggota prajurit TNI AD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai kepuasan pernikahan pada pasangan suami istri TNI AD Batalyon Zeni Tempur X Bandung. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teori Kepuasan Pernikahan (Fowers, Blaine J dan Olson, David H, 1993). Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuisoner dengan jumlah populasi 50 pasangan suami dan istri. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh 52% suami berada dalam kategori yang tinggi dan 56% istri berada dalam kategori yang tinggi. Pasa aspek kepuasan pernikahan semua masuk kedalam kategori yang tinggi yaitu, komunikasi, waktu luang, hubungan seksual, pengasuhan anak, keagamaan penyelesaian konflik, pengelolaan keuangan, hubungan teman dan keluarga, kepribadian, dan kesetaraan.
