Hubungan Antara Kepuasan Seksual dan Cybersex pada Individu yang Telah Menikah

Abstract


Abstract. Indonesian people have a very worrying consumption rate of pornographic content. It is possible that some married people use cybersex. One of the reasons for using cybersex is to seek sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction is an important aspect that can determine the success or failure of a relationship. Nowadays individuals choose online media to fulfill the needs of a satisfying sex life. This study aims to obtain empirical data on the strength of the correlation between sexual satisfaction and cybersex. The participants of this study were 100 married people who live in Bandung. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study uses the New Sexual Satisfaction Scale developed by Štulhofer, Buško, & Brouillard (2010) and the Internet Sex Screening Test developed by Delmonico (1999) which has been adapted into Bahasa Indonesia by researchers. The results of this study indicate that sexual satisfaction has a weak relationship with cybersex in married people.

Abstrak. Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki angka konsumsi konten pornografi yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Terdapat kemungkinan bahwa beberapa orang yang telah menikah menggunakan cybersex. Salah satu alasan penggunaan cybersex adalah untuk mencari kepuasan seksual. Kepuasan seksual merupakan suatu aspek yang penting yang dapat menentukan keberhasilan atau kegagalan dalam suatu hubungan. Saat ini individu memilih media online untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kehidupan seks yang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai keeratan hubungan antara kepuasan seksual dan cybersex. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden yang telah menikah di Kota Bandung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur New Sexual Satisfaction Scale yang disusun oleh Štulhofer, Buško, & Brouillard (2010) dan alat ukur Internet Sex Screening Test yang disusun oleh Delmonico (1999) yang telah di adaptasi kedalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh peneliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepuasan seksual memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan cybersex pada individu yang telah menikah.
