Studi Deskriptif Mengenai Subjective Well-Being pada Guru Honorer di SLB Bhinneka Kabupaten Bandung Barat

Abstract


Abstract. Special Education is education for students who have difficulty in following the learning process due to physical, emotional, mental, social and have special talents and intelligence potential. One of them is in SLB Bhinneka with 15 honorary teachers in it. Honorary teachers at SLB Bhinneka have the same roles, responsibilities and duties as civil servants, but the salaries they receive are still far below the UMR. Even with salaries below the UMR and many assignments, these honorary teachers still feel that they are sufficient with the salary received and feel satisfaction in their lives. Feelings of satisfaction by Diener (1984) are called Subjective Well-Being which include cognitive components, positive affect, and negative affect. This study aims to find out and get a picture of SWB in the SLB Bhinneka honorary teacher in West Bandung Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive research with quantitative methods. Data collection was performed using an online questionnaire based on the theory of Subjective Well-Being (Diener, 1984). The results obtained are that there are 80% of honorary teachers who show a high Subjective Well-Being and as many as 20% of honorary teachers who show a low Subjective Well-Being.

Abstrak. Pendidikan Luar biasa adalah pendidikan bagi peserta didik yang memiliki kesulitan dalam mengikuti proses belajar yang disebabkan kelainan fisik, emosional, mental, sosial dan memiliki potensi bakat dan kecerdasan yang istimewa. Salah satunya terdapat di SLB Bhinneka dengan 15 guru honorer didalamnya. Guru honorer di SLB Bhinneka ini memiliki peran, tanggung jawab, dan tugas yang sama dengan PNS namun gaji yang mereka terima masih jauh dibawah UMR. Meskipun dengan gaji yang dibawah UMR dan tugas yang banyak, para guru honorer ini tetap merasa cukup dengan gaji yang diterima dan merasakan kepuasan dalam hidupnya. Perasaan kepuasan oleh Diener (1984) disebut dengan Subjective Well-Being yang meliputi komponen kognitif, afek positif, dan afek negatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan gambaran mengenai SWB pada guru honorer SLB Bhinneka Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuisioner online yang disusun berdasrkan teori Subjective Well-Being (Diener, 1984). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat 80% guru honorer yang menunjukan Subjective Well-Being yang Tinggi dan sebanyak 20% guru honorer yang menunjukan Subjective Well-Being yang rendah.
