Abstract

Abstract. In an organization there will be a phase that organization changed. Sumedang "X" Hospital recognizes that the organizational climate in this hospital is not good and that there are many incompatibilities in work procedures since the implementation of the BPJS system. The impact of this condition is the nurse's inability to follow the new procedures, increased duties, and that nurses are not able to adapt to the new systems; therefore, organizational conditions are perceived negatively. Another thing that makes the internal condition of the organization being perceived negatively is the lack of support for nurses' well-being from their management, thus generating negative impact on nurses performances; nurses often make mistakes in completing tasks. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical data about the relationship between organizational climate and readiness for changes in nurses at Sumedang “X†Hospital. Data collection applies a questionnaire instrument with a measuring instrument consisting of Litwin and Stringer Organizational Questionnaire (LSOCQ) and the Individual Readiness for Change (IRFC) measurement tool. The method used in this study is correlational. The total amount of subjects in this study are 43 people. Based on data processing, the results obtain a strong positive relationship between organizational climate and readiness for change (rs = 0.651).
