PIT Design Based On The Value Of Stripping Ratio 5:1 In. PT. Winner Prima Sekata, In The Village Kunangan, District Muara Tebo, Province Jambi
Abstract
Mining activity has a very broad scope , the which starts from the
exploration stage , Feasibility study, development and mine plan , mining activity,
processing, marketing, reclamation and mine closure.
Mine planning is One Important activities performed by a Company,
because to get maximum result, a company Should have a mining plan activities
with good as well as considering some aspect Technical , Economical and
Environment.
This research was conducted to Obtain mine designs WITH stripping ratio
5:1, Because it was matching with values BESR of The company has been
calculated is 5:48 : 1, Which means to dig 1 ton of coal it must be unload 5,48 BCM ,
and if more than that was note economical for mined.
This study was conducted to design ( design ) pit, Calculating mineable
reserves, Determine production plans and knowing the life of the mine .
Final designs PIT Mine has a total depth of 42 meters with an area of 40.5
hectares and total openings floor elevation of 15 meters above sea level.
While reserves of coal mined in the pit area is 1,441,802.418 tons with
overburden volume of 6,809,685.788 BCM, and the with production plan of 40,000
tons per month, then the age of mining is 36 months (3 years).
