Pengendalian Kualitas Produk Sarung Tenun dengan Metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)

Abstract

Abstract. The development of the textile industry in Indonesia is growing very rapidly. This is because there is support from the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. The Indonesian Ministry of Industry stated that the textile industry has considerable potential in efforts to increase national economic growth. CV. Pata Jaya Textile is an industry engaged in textiles. This company produces several kinds of textile products but for now the company only focuses on producing woven sarongs. Production carried out by CV. Patma Jaya Textile is still not good. This is evidenced by the many defects that occur in the production process. The production process has decreased for the last 5 years with a percentage of disability above the company-determined limit, this is a serious problem that must be resolved quickly. The purpose of this research is to reduce the disability that occurs so that the productivity of the company increases. In an effort to solve this problem used periodical quality quality control (SQC) and any analysis failure mode and effect (FMEA). The cause of disability is seen from human factors, methods, materials, machines and the environment. Based on the results of the processing obtained the RPN value for the type of surface defect of the gross sheath is 441, for the type of surface defect with a hole cover of 432, the type of defect resulting from the weaving is not neat as much as 216 and the size is not appropriate for 126. The data is the data of the causes of disability have the highest priority for repairs.

Abstrak. Perkembangan industry tekstil di Indonesia berkembang sangat pesat. Hal ini karena adanya dukungan dari kemendtrian perindustrian Indonesia. Kementrian Perindustrian Indonesia menyatakan bahwa industri tekstil memiliki potensi yang cukup besar dalam upaya peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. CV. Pata Jaya Textile merupakan industry yang bergerak di bidang tekstil. Perusahaan ini memproduksi beberapa macam produk tekstil namun untuk sekarang perusahaan hanya fokus memproduksi sarung tenun. Produksi yang dilakukan oleh CV. Patma Jaya Textile masih kurang baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan masih banyaknya kecacatan yang terjadi di proses produksi yang dilakukan. Proses produksi mengalami penurunan untuk 5 tahun terakhir ini dengan persentase kecacatan di atas batas yang ditentukan perusahaan, hal ini merupakan permasalahan serius yang harus cepat diselesaikan. Dilakukannnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kecacatan yang terjadi agar produktivitas perusahaan bertambah. Dalam upaya menyelesaikan permasalahan ini digunakan meode statictical quality control (SQC) dan failure mode and effect anylisis (FMEA). Penyebab kecacatan dilihat dari faktor manusia, metode, bahan, mesin dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengolahan yang didapat nilai RPN untuk jenis kecacatan permukaan sarung kotor adalah sebesar 441, untuk jenis kecacatan permukaan sarung berlubang sebesar 432, jenis kecacatan hasil tenun tidak rapih sebesar 216 dan ukuran tidak sesuai sebesar 126. Data tersebut merupakan data faktor penyebab kecacatan yang memiliki prioritas paling tinggi untuk dilakukan perbaikan.
